Introduction
9
Knowing how each currency converts into other currencies, and at what rates, is often difficult. This is especially true in Star Trek Online, where the number of currencies is quite extensive. Some currencies convert to others, and some are very limited in their conversion. The goal of this spreadsheet is to help explain how Star Trek Online currencies interact.

How to Use
12
1.The first thing you need to do if you want to use this spreadsheet is to make your own copy of it. To do this, select File -> Make a copy. Keep in mind, your copy will not be updated when I make updates to this spreadsheet.
13
2.Each currency has its own page. This serves to show how that specific currency does or does not convert into or from the others.
14
3.To calculate exchange rates for a specific currency, insert the amount of that currency into the box with the white border and yellow number. The exchange rates for that amount of currency are automatically calculated.
15
4.Each currency page has two sections. The top section is converting away from that currency. The bottom section is converting to that currency.
16
5.To make sure exchange rates are current, be certain to fill in the requested values at the bottom of the "Rates" page. These values fit into the exchange formulas, and are automatically applied to all calculations throughout the spreadsheet.
17
6.For a fun time, play around with the EC Generator. You can calculate how many Energy Credits you can get if you sell items obtained via other currencies!
