Good morning, students and teachers. The countdown to NAEP testing is underway. Our 8th-graders will sit to take this important assessment to measure
34
our nation’s educational progress. Students and teachers if you have any questions please reach out to Jill Boen, our school’s NAEP coordinator. Thank you.
35
36
Come support our student thespians before they travel to sub-sections for the Minnesota High School League One Act contest in Two Harbors on Saturday, Jan 26.
37
The play is The Rules of Comedy by Peter Bloedel.
38
The audience is given a side-splitting lesson in what's funny and what's not funny. In order to prove that the Rules of Comedy work, they are hilariously inserted into one
39
of the most popular tragedies of all time: William Shakespeare's Hamlet. The Rules of Comedy is a physical comedy "blow-out" with an interesting twist that showcases
40
the cast's ability to handle tragic drama, as well. Playing by the rules has never been so much fun.
