A CE-MIN program must contain at least 24 units of approved coursework not duplicated for the major program, and must conform to the School of Engineering minor requirements as published in the UGHB. Any prerequisite math or science courses are not included in the 24-unit count and may be counted in the major or other degree program(s).

1. Consult with the recommended advisor listed below, dependent upon which minor track you are pursuing, and obtain study list approval:

2. Apply on Axess for the minor degree. The CEE administrator will then check the form and either contact you for more information or approve the minor. Minors must be officially declared and all courses completed or in progress no later than the deadline for a student’s application to graduate.

3. Scan this PS to the CEE departmental student services office at jill.filice@stanford.edu, or bring to 316 Y2E2.

Preferably the quarter prior to graduation (and at latest by the Final Study List deadline of graduation quarter), the student must complete a Major-Minor & Multiple-Major Course Approval eForm, available on Axess under the Student tab. Once submitted, the form will be reviewed by the School of Engineering, your major department, and the Registrar; you will be notified of any issues and/or approval.
