6. Add Na2CO3 solution slowly (1-2 ml at a time), while adjusting the pH between 7.5 and 8 with 1N HCl.

7. Allow the solution to mix for several minutes before adjusting the pH to 7.35-7.40, then bring to the final volume with purified water.

8. Filter through a vacuum filtration system and place in a 1- or 2-L bottle.
