Method of Determining Final Standings

93. The following method is used for determining the winner of a League Division Championship:

 A. The team in each division accruing the greatest number of points will be declared the champions (4 points for regulation win, 3 points for OT win, 2 points for tie, 1 point for OT loss, 0 points for regulation loss)

 B. If two or more teams are tied in total points, the standings will be determined using the following criteria:

 1. Team having the most wins in all league games

 2. Team having accrued the most points among the tied teams (head-to-head)

 3. Team having the most wins among the tied teams

 4. Team with the fewest goals against among the tied teams
30
 5. Team having the fewest goals against in all league games

 C. If one tiebreaker establishes a position for one or more teams, each team is placed in the applicable positions. Once a team or teams are placed, any remaining teams start the tie-breaking process at step 1
