5 | 5th-year senior with over 2,000 career snaps. Versatile linebacker who primarily played off-ball at Utah, but has the strength/length to be used on the edge. The type of player who does everything well but doesn’t have an elite strength. Excels in zone coverage and his ability to read the QB allows him to jump some routes. Probably lacks the agility to run with certain tight ends and won’t be able to handle man assignments on a regular basis. Despite moderate athleticism, his range versus the run has grown as he’s mastered the ability to quickly diagnose plays. If you want an elite athlete with range and athleticism in coverage, Lloyd might not be the right fit – but if you want a versatile playmaker who excels against the run, can hold his own in coverage and blitz from the inside or the edge, Lloyd can be an immediate starter.

9 | Off-ball linebacker with incredible range. Plays at full speed 100% of the time, which is his best trait but does have its pitfalls - he'll run himself out of some plays by biting too early. Lacks the length/strength to be deployed as an edge-rusher like Micah Persons, but he did blitz on about 25% of passing downs at UGA and excelled due to elite closing burst. Decent production in coverage and has flashed an ability to get his hands on the ball. Top tier pass-catching tight ends will have a size and athleticism advantage on him, so you won’t want him to rely on him as your best coverage linebacker/safety. Not a fit for every defense due to his size, but if you want a rangy linebacker who can do a little bit of everything, he’s your guy.

13 | Inside linebacker in Wisconsin's scheme but has the size and strength to also play on the edge. Excelled on blitzes and is fully capable of engaging with offensive linemen. Reliable wrap-up tackler, who will also deliver some big hits. Explosive athleticism sets a high ceiling, though he's still developing in many areas. Recognition skills in coverage are lacking - he has the speed to recover from mistakes, but he'll get exposed early in his NFL career. Immediate role should be as a two-down linebacker, though there's hope for developing into a more complete player. His impact on the blitzes and potential to play on the edge helps set a high floor – if he’s not an every-down player, you’ll find ways to get him on the field.

17 | Run-stuffing linebacker who excels playing downhill. Decent range for his size. Reliable tackler and can deliver some big hits. Effective on blitzes. Does not have the athleticism for man coverage. Shows strong awareness in zone coverage and can get by with that, but he’s not the ideal athlete for any coverage assignments. Think of him as a guy who will avoid mistakes in coverage, but won’t contribute difference-making plays. Probably best suited as an early-down linebacker.

21 | Athletic, rangy linebacker with immediate-starter potential but will miss rookie year following spinal fusion surgery in March. The nature and recency of the surgery obviously raises concerns which will cause him to fall much further in the draft and sets a lower floor due to the uncertainty of his recovery process. Intelligent player who has strong anticipation skills against the run. Limited blitz experience but extremely productive when asked to get after the QB – elite closing burst. Cover skills are a work in progress still, but he has the necessary athleticism to improve.

25 | Converted quarterback and running back with only one full season as a starting linebacker. Explosive athlete with ideal speed for coverage. Very little experience on blitzes, but has the length and closing burst to potentially excel. Knee surgery would have wiped out his 2020 season if it wasn’t cancelled. Limited experience and level of competition makes him a bit of a project, but his athleticism is exciting and he seems to have the necessary tools to potentially develop into a starter.

29 | Zero career starters and only one year in the rotation, but did see significant action in 2021. Primarily used as a coverage linebacker. Elite athleticism for the position. Can run with most receivers. Lack of experience shows in his zone coverage communication. Elite range versus the run and has the strength to wrap-up the ball carrier. Anticipation ability looks strong, though there aren’t many reps to judge him on. Athleticism sets a nice ceiling, but expect a special teams-only player early in his career.

33 | Listed as a linebacker through out his career, but overwhelming majority of his experience is in coverage in the slot. Nebraska trusted him against TEs and WRs. Undersized and lacks ideal length for a significant role in the box and probably won’t be a three-down linebacker. Should be a valuable special teams contributor and coverage linebacker. Spent six years in college and will be a 25-year-old rookie. Multiple ACL tears in the same knee.
