How to Use this Working Zone:

This document was used by the research team carrying out the data portrait, as a space to track progress, document and present information fluidly, and process calculations where necessary.

As such, it is very much a working zone. For synthesized information, it's probably more helpful to refer to the short report, or if in search for more chunky bits of information, the notion dashboard. Here, the data based findings are explained and contextualised in full.

Thank you for your curiosity and understanding of the nature of this document, which will be neatened and further structured over time. In its current state, the document will likely be most helpful for people who are trying to create their own data portrait of place, or those who like looking behind the scenes - enjoy!

Compiled Lens Sheet

This sheet is a summarized, compiled list of all four lens' details for targets, indicators, thresholds, snapshot, safe and just status & summarized context.
In this sheet you can see all the findings in one place, and where shortfalls and overshoots are determined.

There is then a sheet for each of the four lenses, Local Social, Local Ecological, Global Social and Global Ecological. Within each of these sheets you can see the process that was taken for the research gathering. Synthesis and sensemaking will likely not be found in great detail on these pages, and instead would encourage a visit to the notion dashboard for this.

Data Sets Sheets

Sheets beyond that are where data sets as taken from their sources have been stored. There is some inconsistency with how this was done as some data sets may be found on lens- specific sheets whereas others require their own sheet. there is no particular reason for this other than for ease of navigation that happened after the calculations and linked cells had started. In the future, these will be streamlined for less confusion.
