Results are based on a survey conducted on April 30 to May 6, among more than 18,000 voters in Thursday’s election. UK respondents were selected after answering one of the nearly three million user-created surveys running each day on the SurveyMonkey platform. The average click-through rate on the survey request was 16 percent. The bootstrapped confidence interval of less than one percentage point accounts for the variability of the estimated proportions in the sampled population as well as the impact of the statistical weighting used to make the sample statistically representative in terms of age, sex, education, marital status, region, and country of birth based on the 2011 UK Census.
