5/9/2023 9:03:43V3Koji. I wish I had better words but it was so unique and delicious. That level of fruity + complex is exactly why I love interesting coffee.

5/9/2023 20:44:54V3Pink Bourbon Honey. It was just really on point as a roast. Best expression of the bean I've tasted.
5
5/9/2023 9:28:31V3Haven't tried all of them yet but the orange colombian was really good
6
5/16/2023 13:40:40V3Honey Pink Bourbon w/Tartaric Acid + Orange. This coffee was just bursting with flavor and scent. Unique, delicious, and one of my best cups of the year.

5/30/2023 10:54:18V3Honey Pink Bourbon w/Tartaric Acid + Orange Peels - SUPER unique (great citrus plus sour flavor - almost like an italian bitter campari) and delicious. I loved the others, but if I had to choose one it would be the HPB. Usually get my beans from various cafes around the neighborhood (Oslo, SEY, Paloma, Devocion), but have never tried something like the HPB before.

9/15/2023 13:42:58V4The Natural Piramide - I texted you about it, but it was a flavor BOMB. 11/10 coffee. The Gesha was also awesome. Probably an 8.5/10 for me. The third one (I forget the name) was good, but not memorable. Probably 6/10 for me.

9/16/2023 11:29:01V4Really loved the Lychee. Never had a coffee like it. I tried to pull an americano with it and it came out incredible. Americano is underrated

9/20/2023 8:18:00V4SL28. The funk was quite nice! I liked the other coffees very much but this one edged them out.
11
9/15/2023 13:46:58V4Diego Bermudez wins, the Lychee bean was so flavorful and finnicky which I liked oddly
12
5/15/2024 22:18:35V5Sebastian Ramirez Peach co-ferment. really crushable cup!! I found the bean quite robust - I could steep longer for a more balanced cup, or pour fast to accent the delicate peach flavor more. I've had this from Black & White before and loved it - what you made was comparable!
13
5/24/2024 8:46:56V5Yunnan. It was delightfully complex, and really gave off an exaggerated version of the tasting notes you get from naturals
14
5/18/2024 8:54:52V5Double anaerobic washed orange bourbon. Well balanced and was able to drink daily. I always drink coffee black, but after reading someone comment about adding milk to make it taste like an orange creamsicle, they were right!
15
5/12/2024 15:38:39V5Peach. Clear notes and juicy. Not overly fermented. Definitely best coffee of the year so far.
16
5/11/2024 10:17:43V5Yunnan! It has probably the most interesting aftertaste of any coffee I've ever had. It was reminiscent of a cocktail I used to get that was served with a cinnamon stick that had been lit on fire. Smoky, but somehow ended up almost spicy rather than ashy. I loved it. My husband said his favorite was the orange bourbon because it was the easiest to dial in (it was also the first bean we opened so the freshness may have helped).
17
5/24/2024 14:15:06V6Black Honey Sidra - the spiced floral flavors were amazing and I found myself constantly craving it and overlooking the others
18
5/9/2024 18:12:33V6woof, tough decision for me between the anaerobic pink bourbon and the sidra. I'd probably say sidra because it was SO different from anything else I've had. The pink bourbon was the first tastefully-done anaerobic i've had so i also very much enjoyed it. sidra literally smelled, and tasted, like my wife's tea cabinet. delish.

5/24/2024 12:10:41V6Semi-Washed Castillo + Columbia - Extremely easy to brew. Didn't have a single bad cup, even when dialing in and modifying different factors. I thought I would prefer the funkier coffees here (as that is normal for me), but I just really loved this one every time I drank it.
20
5/24/2024 14:10:14V6Semi-washed castillo / colombia, with the Sidra a close second. Well balanced and delicious on pour over, got some nice mango notes from it.

5/28/2024 10:52:33V6Pink bourbon my fave! Totally get the bubblegum, but it reminds me of this tropical fruit we eat and cook with in Ecuador a lot called a Naranjilla. It’s technically a nightshade but tastes somewhere in between passion fruit, dried apricot and navel orange.
22
8/27/2024 8:21:21V7White Honey Gesha; because the processing added a superb level of punchiness to the brew without any off/fermenty flavors, just accentuated the varietal
23
8/27/2024 11:36:27V7Finca El Placer White Honey Gesha, astounding florals and very low acidity/bitterness even brewed as an espresso
24
8/29/2024 13:19:23V7White Honey Gesha, a lot going on, with a little of that spice from the Sidra in the last box that I adored.
25
9/1/2024 13:34:56V7White Honey Gesha: Absolute floral bomb, even in a 18->54 1:3 espresso recipe made into a 10oz latte went crazy. Definitely not just one note. Loved the complexity, and even tasted some citrus fruit. Reminiscent of earl grey but more complex. I need 5 pound bags of this ASAP.
26
9/3/2024 22:46:38V7Honey White Gesha - it literally was a cup of dessert and each day
27
9/9/2024 16:56:58V7Rwanda Humure Abishyizahame Low Oxygen Natural was my number one pick from V7 Box and it was a true wowza. It was funky but pleasantly very different from what I had expected. Heavy watermelon notes with spiced notes and a touch of florality. The recommended brew with the switch was spot on. El Placer White Honey Gesha was a very close second.
