2					NOTE 1: When entering data for registered borrowers, please remember that you might need to adjust the Resident vs Non-Resident numbers to account for patrons living in nearby towns/townships/cities. To calculate based on your service area, please look at the second tab (labeled as "FY2020 Reg. Borrowers DATA") in this sheet (see tabs below).

5					NOTE 2: The implementation of Online User Registration in 2020 has further complicated the Registered Borrower calculation. ONLINE patrons do not have a User Cat 1 (aka City) in their WF records. There are also a number of patrons that have normal user profiles but an undefined User Cat 1. Undefined User Cat 1s are counted as Non-Resident borrowers. If your library would like to be very precise and further breakdown your ONLINE patrons (and those without a User Cat 1/City) as Resident and Non-Resident borrowers, please see the third tab of this sheet ("FY2020 User Cat. 1 DATA"). This report breaks down the users with undefined User Cat 1's by the City/State field in WorkFlows. You can add up the numbers for the cities within your service area - then that total would be added to Resident and subtracted from Non-Resident.
