Labs and experiments, including dissections, will help to understand the internal workings of these animals. Plant and Soil Science (AGRI 105)10th-12th2This course includes hands-on learning activities that encourage students to investigate areas of plant and soil science. Students apply technical skill while becoming competent in the process used to operate, repair, engineer, and design agricultural tools and equipment. Topics will include metal fabrication, welding, engines, construction, electricity and plumbing. Agriculture Structures Fabrication and Design10th-12th1-2This course focuses on metal work and agricultural structures. Students develop skills in welding and metalworking such as metal identification and properties, metal preparation, use of oxyacetylene torch, plasma cutting and cutting operations, arc welding, MIG welding, TIG welding. This course will also allow students to develop skills in construction in regard to the ag industry such as carpentry, masonry, etc. Fall focused on welding; Spring focused on small engines

Students will collect and analyze data, then use the information to make decisions. Provides an understanding and justifications that demonstrate the economic and environmental benefits of precision agriculture.Students will demonstrate UAV competency and handling in order to achieve the Part 107 UAS certification.

Students will become familiar with laboratory procedures used in an educational, research, or industrial setting. Students will complete an end-of-course project and presentation, such as a scientific research paper, agriscience fair project, or some other suitable presentation of their findings.Qualifies as a quantitative reasoning course
