They help ensure that we stay within Mali’s HR’s legal ramifications. They handle our employees’ contracts, leave, etc… and provide training and conflict resolution, support hiring processes: interviewing and hiring our employees. ACFA does not have these necessary skills and expertise, and needs it to employ individuals in Mali. Specific emphasis was put on
the principles of supporting each other, visit to respective families, how to listen to the children's concerns, and take action on them etc...
His presentation included complexe concepts and they were supported by specific examples. The training was extremely beneficial and provided a platform for ACFA staff to link social work, with children from difficult background. The role of care, respect, confidence, trust, support to each other, listening etc... were amongst many things that were discussed during the training. ACFA staff will incorporate these lessons learned into their daily routine of supporting the vulnerable children of Mali.

OtherGeneral, Strategic Planning, Governance, Succession Planning, Mission, Vision & Values, Executive Review & Coaching, Facilitator, Leadership Development, Staff Training, Capacity Developmentedge PerformanceManuela Müller Jitegemee Children's ProgramJitegemee has been working with Edge for several months and continues to be blown away by the support they have given us.

Manuela and Martha gave us informal advice over a period of several months while we were going through a particularly challenging leadership transition, and provided a welcome sounding board.

More recently, we have worked with Manuela to conduct a staff and board team-building workshop, and Manuela's enthusiasm, professionalism and understanding of how people work together was fantastic. She listened to, encouraged, and pushed our team to come together, identify and agree on our Core Values. She also introduced new feedback concepts to our team, which they readily embraced and have found helpful in our work.

We are currently going through a much easier transition of leadership, and Manuela has again provided support in working with my colleague and I to do a thorough and thoughtful transition of duties and responsibilities. It has been a rigorous, constructive and enjoyable process, in which we've covered a host of topics and learned of new tools to help us in our work.

I would strongly recommend Manuela and her fantastic team at Edge Performance to work with any NGO or community based organization - they hit exactly the right balance with our team.

Human ResourcesEmployee HandbookJackie HackettJackie HackettAGE AfricaShe was fast, professional, thorough and timely. However, the reason we only finished one out of our 3 projects is because we had three consultants start and then quit mid-stream on our second project which was an impact infographic. Catchafire issued us a refund for this second project because we felt we couldn't invest anymore time in a consultant that may not see the project through. We still have one project outstanding that has not yet been initiated.10jhackett2012@gmail.com
