Who is your learner and what is their broader communityVanessa is 17 year old junior in high school from Syria. She is being raised in a household which practices no religion, however is open to learning about religion. She is home schooled in a network.

What is the educational problem? She has anxiety and is an introvert. Her anxiety has forced her into homeschooling. She is interested in a Robotics club. She wants to expand her social circle and begin to faced her anxiety before moving on the higher education, but her parents are nervous a campus school will be too much.

Online, virtual tour. McNick targets the homeschooling network with on-line ads. She is a part of a robotics programs through UC and McNick students are as well. Between the robotics program and social media she connected with McNick students and formed an interest. Because her family took language classes at Berlitz Language School, her mother received an ad about McNick on social feed. McNick has formed a partnership with the Global Relocation Network as an option for families.

The broader community is her parents, because she wants to attend McNick, but her parents are anxious. McNick has a data base of parents to speak with prospective parents about their and their child's experiences at McNick. Invite the parents to come on campus to the information night which includes activities, a tour, current families. The personal touch.
