|Elmer S. Steiner, 84, of Scranton, passed away on Saturday, May 20th at the West River Regional Medical Center in Hettinger.|
Mass of Christian Burial for Elmer will be at 10 am on Friday, May 26th at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Scranton. Fr. Stephen Folorunso will celebrate the Mass with burial to follow in the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery. There will be a Rosary and Vigil Service on Thursday, May 25th at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church beginning at 7 pm.

|A Medical Benefit for Shelby Jensen will be on Thursday, June 1st, from 5 to 7 at the Rhame VFW Hall. Shelby is fighting cancer for the second time in her young life. |Badlands Ministries will hold their annual Day Camp in Bowman at the Bowman Lutheran Church, Monday, June 5 through Thursday, June 8, 2016 from 3-8pm. |Bowman County has employed a contractor to perform a road improvement project on 97th Street SW, also know as the Bowman Haley Dam Road. The project begins at the Junction of Highway 85 and continues east 5 miles. the project will be under construction from now through July 15th.
