Justification: Light needs to actually meet and examine the people she'll be putting in the field.Justification: Light asks Adams to check up on everyone individually, to get an outside POV (while also motivated by getting a POV on Adams from her interactions with these people, many of which she's just meeting.)Justification: Iris needs to meet all the people she'll be going in the field with. All the other anomalies. Wrinkle: She's freaked out about working with other anomalies, because she's absorbed a lot of the Foundation rhetoric about how they're inherently scary and dangerous. KainLight talks to Kain about his integration with Alpha-9, doubling as an excuse to catch up with an old friend. Kain is starting a project: Remote-piloted Egg Walker. (Drafted) Light & Kain working on this nowAdams checks in on Kain's Big Projects. She's not able to make an appointment with him -- he's avoiding her -- so she reads a report from an agent working under her. He's making headway on a Giant Robot to assist Alpha-9 in the field. Maybe Adams has some sort of issue with how far he's going with such a hyper-militarized addition to Alpha-9, but overridden by higher-ups.Iris meets up with Kain and sees the fully unveiled Remote Egg Walker II. (It's big and scary and probably dangerous!) They go through the equipment list, and take a trip to SCP-222, with Kain framing it as a training/bonding activity.

Elliott (Photo)Light meets with Elliott to tell her about her new assignment: she's to work on developing her own anomaly, with an eye to making herself a useful field agent. "What? Me?" Light tries to explain. Elliott's on board with the research, but ambivalent both about her own prospects in combat and about weaponizing her anomaly. Light is drafting this.Adams checks in with Elliott and Mann, who are working together to develop Chelsea's anomaly and see where it goes. The two scientists have a bit of a personality clash going, and Elliott is frazzled and torn... but they *are* making progress. [The nature of that progress: TBA.] A draft different from this has been written by Clef. If things stay the same, this will end up in another tale. Or this could be edited.Iris catches up with (runs into?) Elliott, who is practicing with her newly-developed field "powers". She's frankly terrified, but doing a fairly good job of hiding it. She has a lot of sympathy for Iris (and an apology for Girls' Night Out!); maybe they end up comforting each other.

FoxxLight discusses Foxx's role in Alpha-9. One of the new relevant things to bring up: Foxx is the only field agent on Alpha-9 currently who has actually lived in the anomalous world, and who, for example, is conversant with terms like "Type Blue" without having to be debriefed.
Set in the aftermath of the MC&D story. Possibly some sort of fallout from it. (Could potentially be skipped if Clef & LordDeath don't think it's needed -- or it could be Adams just looking at his file, or something)Iris meets Foxx for the first time. ZynZyn Kiryu turns down the "opportunity" to work with Alpha-9, aware that if/when things go south, it could get in the way of her organizational climbing. Two-part scene: Light is ordered by a spooky Factotum to convince Zyn to join. They are particularly interested in Zyn's projects investigating weaponized SCPs, especially the 'razor butterflies' project based on 2332 and 143 (bladewood grove). Light is authorized to dangle 408 as a carrot ("408 is lonely"). Ultimately, Zyn agrees to join. (Behind the scenes: someone or someones in O5 Command has decided "Zyn is the new Kondraki", although Zyn herself doesn't know this yet and has absolutely zero interest in it.)Adams has Zyn test out the razor butterflies project? Han (SCP-2913)Light meets with Han to discuss his place in the project. Touch on Han's immaturity and his fear of being alone if the project fails.Adams and Han bond over their "suits". Han's wearing his "glove" when Adams comes by. It lets him move about a bit more stealthily, gives him radio communications (and keeps him silent otherwise), and also allows him to see the world in more than just the visible spectrum, if need be. It's mostly mundane, but Han is (unjustifiably) proud of it.Han and Iris watch Steven Universe together. (WE. ARE IN ALPHA-NINE.) Nothing about this suggestion is not incredible. We're totally doing it.

StrelnikovLight and Dmitri are old friends. She and Everett Mann visit him in his quarters to assess his mental state shortly after Clef and Adams bring him back into the fold. Draft in progress.Adams meets Strelnikov for the first time when she and Clef go to pull him out of retirement. He doesn't know her as Olympia so that's a non-issue. That said, her attitude, personality and style of dress all combine to remind him of his wife, which makes their relationship a little awkward. He can't quite get past the resemblances. He really won't interact with her much on a professional level, as she is still under Clef and wouldn't have to come to him for much, unless she wanted to. Not out of the question.Iris and Dmitri talk about team bonding and unity, and what this means for her. She asks him about his dead wives. It's kinda sad. They have already been training for some time, although Dmitri doesn't do the direct training. He acts as a coordinator, and other people carry out his plans.
