K Fund – ESG Measurement Questionnaire

Building on the Social Value Portal’s market leading National Social Value (TOMs) Measurement framework and the ESG_VC Measurement Framework, K Fund's ESG measurement questionnaire helps portfolio companies to understand how they are performing against key ESG criteria, helping identify areas for improvement and tracking progress against these criteria.

The ESG_VC Measurement Framework is a resource consisting of 47 Questions across three themes of ESG, which has been developed in partnership with various VCs and start-ups. It is designed to provide individual companies with an initial benchmark of their ESG performance, helping them begin and advance their ESG journey. It is also a vital resource for K Fund's reporting to LPs and the regulator.

Completing the framework should take between 1-2 hours based upon the stage, sector and maturity of your company. It is designed to track your progress over time, so do not be concerned if you have areas that you currently cannot answer - it is intended to help you tackle these issues in the future. From this framework we would also like you to choose 1-3 areas of focus for the next 12-18 months that we can work on together, to improve before your next fundraise.
