Overview

Restack.AI is an independent Web3 game studio based in Norway and Ukraine. We are the Galactic Hubs Season 1 and 2 Pioneer Grant recipients. We built Battledome in Season 1 and will develop a community toolset for season 2, allowing us to decentralize the game. In our Discord, we setup a Battledome focus group, inviting the active and vocal players to solicit feedback. As a result, we created, ranked, and estimated a backlog of community feature requests. This is our second community request after successfully implementing the minion movement feature.

Description

We need to create leagues for the two-player types: Those with common cards only and those with more advanced cards. This enhancement will grow the player base by giving new players a chance to enjoy and win with a reduced barrier to entry while not hindering the more advanced and established player base. Note that 80% of the players only have common and abundant NFTs. Therefore, this change will significantly increase participation and demand for TLM and Alien World's NFTs.

Key Requirements

Novice Lobby & League: Only players with Abundant and Common NFTs can participate. (Abundant & Common only).

Advanced Lobby & League: Players with Rare, Epic, Legendary, and Mythical cards will participate in this league.

Arrange NFTs by Phases for easier access: If the user prioritizes the air phase, the Air NFTs will show first on the registration screen.
Fire = Show Fire NFTs 1st > Air = Show Air NFTs 1st > and so on.

Create an “Introduction to Leagues” video: We will a comprehensive walkthrough with captivating sound and visual effects to update the audience on the new feature.

This year, we added two junior developers to our team, allowing us to sustain the game's development over the long term. Our estimate includes management, development, testing, post-delivery support, and adjustments.

Steve has over 25 years of experience as a software engineer in the gaming, finance, and government sectors. He built and continues to maintain Battledome. In addition, he will direct and mentor two new developers who will deliver the project.

Alex is a 25+ year experienced project manager and business leader with corporate experience. He will manage developer relations, the project timeline, and communication with Alien Worlds.

Danny N (Fullstack Developer)
Danny is studying for his Master’s Degree in computer science at Lviv Polytechnic University. He will be an apprentice under Steve as a fullstack developer, supporting Battledome.

Kristiyan T (Fullstack Developer)
“Bulga” is a community member who will apprentice under Steve to support Battledome. He will start on the frontend, learning React before learning the backend and smart contracts.

Timeline
We will implement and deliver this update within two weeks of receiving approval and the first payment. The milestones are:
Project initiation: (2 person days) Specify the project for the jr. developers.
Coding (8 person days): Steve will manage the two junior developers to implement the changes.
Testing (3 person days): We will work with the community to test the update and make necessary updates and changes to ensure smooth gameplay.
Release (1 person day): Push out the final changes and update our player guide.

This project is estimated to take 100-120 person-hours to complete or $7500, which will be paid in TLM. This time estimate includes architecture and design, project management, and knowledge transfer from our CTO to community developers.

Hello, this request of proposal is to help Alien Worlds Indian community grow and increase daily engagement.
The funds requested will be used to buy Alien Worlds NFT’s which will be rewarded to community members through events like trivia, community games, competitions, games and surprise events on Alien Worlds India channel on Telegram, within April-May.

Hi everyone. As many already know I have been working on a few projects lately. AW Mission Tracking System and currently working full-time making Quantumoid better. Hereby it would be nice if he gets some support along the way. Battledome Login - Loyalty Rewards

Overview:
Restack.AI is an independent Web3 game studio based in Lviv, Ukraine, and the Galactic Hubs Season 1 and 2 Pioneer Grants recipients. This is our third community request after successfully implementing the minion movement and player leagues feature. Login rewards aim to increase player retention and loyalty through community recognition.

Description:
We will implement daily login rewards in the game. Players who log in and play at least one game for five consecutive will receive a small bonus, and players who log in every day for 30 days will receive a free “Boost” NFT. The boost NFTs are new and are consumable for cool and powerful effects in the game!

I saw this on Twitter today, a place in Sweden where you can get a room, an office and 3 meals a day prepared for you, for a low fixed amount.

I want to partner with them to find somebody to receive this grant in return for making games on Wax that interface with Alien Worlds, using their NFTs and TLM.

I will mentor them where needed on the blockchain part for free; the full fund amount will go to the grant recipient which will pay for their housing, office and food expenses for a full year, giving them plenty of time to work on this.

Proposal Overview
The community, evidenced in the official Telegram and Discord chats, believes there is an issue with bots mining the TLM, decreasing the game’s value for authentic players. Bots continue to advance, making their patterns more difficult to detect. Studies and news sources state that at least 40% of Web3 game activity is bot-driven!

Therefore, we propose to work with an established polytechnic university, employing the latest big data and AI technologies to detect and identify bot activity. The outcome of this proposal will be our methodology and recommendations for further action. The tools and methods will be open-sourced so others can repeat the experiment and confirm the results.

This proposal will be submitted in two parts: discovery and analysis.This submission is for Part 1 only.

Based on anecdotal information from community leaders, there may be an issue with bots detracting from the user experience. That assertion is further evidenced by the low social media (Facebook, YouTube, Reddit, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn likes/upvotes) and community (Telegram and Discord active participants) engagement relative to the number of daily logins and lifetime users.

And how do you achieve it?
We propose to partner with the Lviv Polytechnic University in Lviv, Ukraine, to extract the relevant Wax blockchain data using the existing APIs and analyze the data with standard and AI-based tools to establish a baseline and identify patterns.
Which value is added to the planets and the AW metaverse?
- Developing new technology to combat bots will enrich the player experience.
- An independent review of the blockchain data will strengthen the marketing value proposition to potential partners.

Pre-Requisite
After speaking to EOSUSA (Michael), it would be best to start with a historical dataset, studying and defining which fields are required to identify baseline and irregular patterns. From that, we can decide what APIs to use.

Milestones
Note that this project will not end in a finished market-ready product, only a prototype that will require adequate infrastructure to scale.

Part I - Discovery
1. Examine a three-month historical dataset provided by EOS USA against the current APIs.
2. Take sample data from relevant APIs to see if it is adequate for bot detection based on the parameters above.
3. Develop a rudimentary proof of concept to mark baseline activity vs. suspected irregular activity.

Part II - Analysis
1. Evaluate AI data analysis tools.
2. Create a baseline of payment frequency for all wallets.
3. Query wallets paid out the most often.
4. Analyze the payout patterns for the above.
5. Analyze if wallets are working in concert (i.e., does wallet A always run relative to wallet B)
Once we detect suspicious activity, we will suggest how to detect and mitigate irregularities and advise on the ongoing cost of continuously monitoring and analyzing the data. We will publish the study on the Restack.AI Medium page. Then we will propose a large scale detection and countermeasures project.

We will work with the Alien Worlds Planets to design and distribute 30 Second Video Promotions to inform the community of the new syndicate funded projects and understand this process can take up to three months.

We will agree to create a total of 20 promotion videos (maximum of 5 Videos per week), covering:
- New community projects
- Events, news and competitions
- Syndicate updates and proposals
- Portfolio

Here are some examples from our recent poster design work we compiled to assist and promote the community. We can do a similar style and quality to promote activities within the Alien Worlds community.

Funding
We will work for 100 hours at a rate of $10/hr to build awareness of Alien Words events and updates. Therefore, we are requesting 50,000 TLM ($1,000).

Breakdown

David Morgan will attend any weekly / monthly meetings as required with the AW management / planetary leaders for their creative direction.

Proposal Overview
Currently, NARON dominates Battledome because most players align with the planet to increase their chances of winning. Therefore, the gameplay algorithm requires an adjustment by adding a consecutive win penalty will be added. The result will be a balanced game and incentive for players to remain with their planets (the ones where they mine). This community-requested update will require moderate code refactoring and extensive testing.

Project Objective
The goal is to adjust the algorithm to even out planetary dominance over the long term. That will make the game more enjoyable to those not aligned with Naron.
Business Model

Battledome is a free-to-play game offering premium services and upgrades. If the user reaches their daily play limit, they can recharge with TLM (repair their damaged weapons and injured minions) and continue to play. Players earn TLM, NFTs, and Skulls (in-game currency) when they win. Like any game, it constantly evolves and improves based on the feedback we receive from players.

We will seek funding for each community-requested enhancement on an ongoing basis, depending on our developers' availability and community demands. Our backlog, created and managed by the community, has ca. 6 months of work.
Project Description
We will fix the planetary leader algorithm by implementing a graduated consecutive win penalty.

There are 3 mechanisms we will design and put in place. Any of these 3 mechanisms can be enabled or disabled, depending on play testing and community feedback.
Planet Dominance Mechanism 1: If a planet wins two in a row, they have a 20% damage penalty in the next round, 3 wins in a row, a damage 30% penalty, and so on. This mechanism goes right up to a maximum 70% damage reduction for 7 wins in a row for any particular planet.

Planet Dominance Mechanism 2: If a game starts and one planet has more than 50% of the players in that game, those players from the dominant planet will not attack in the first round of the game. Other players get a “free attack round” against the dominant planet. Additionally, we will tune down the effect of rare, epic and legendary items on attack values, so that they buff health (but not attack bonus) - to encourage games to play out further rounds before ending since it will take multiple hits to kill an opponent (instead of “one shot kills”).

Planet Dominance Mechanism 3: If a planet is more than 10% ahead of the second placed planet on the planetary leaderboard, planets other than the leading planet will receive a double Skullz bonus if they win a game. Furthermore, if a planet is more than 25% ahead of the second placed planet on the planetary leaderboard, players for planets other than the leading planet will receive the effect of a free “boost” potion in games they queue into, to give them a combat advantage against the leading planet.

These mechanisms will only apply in the ADVANCED league, so as to keep the gameplay in the BEGINNER league as simple as possible.

Last of all we will update this information in the user guide, with text and images, so players can read and study the new mechanisms in the game!

Mission and Expansion For Newbies

Hey, I am SlickNinja! A very new player looking to grind my heart out on this community, with the hopes and dreams of bringing many more people into the space.

I am in search of a fundraising goal of 200,000 TLM
If it goes well could most definitely branch outwards!

I am on a mission as a newbie in this game, I would like a big budget to collect data to put together a spreadsheet for all my future newbies coming in. Data about which missions have pulled the most success, and things to look for.
What I aim to do is, put together a guide to teach newbies such as myself, the absolute best way to grind AW! I have only been in this space for a short period of time and I plan on sticking around for a long while. I hope to move my way up and bring others up with me. This is a team game not just everyone on their own. Could potentially branch out into different experiments but that'll come at a later time.
I will be testing out various amounts on each mission. 1 ship per mission rarity, then increasing amounts as I go. Putting together the numbers for those with a much tighter budget can look for and strategize with. As mentioned above through the missions it shall work as a cycle. The amount requested would be adequate to collect lump numbers.

Will have a council of investors once begun, to help advise and suggest more tips. Would like to work with everyone to make this as best as possible.

This could potentially take 3-6+ months. I plan on spending endless hours on this and just on the community in general.

I have currently created a Minecraft server (JE 1.19.2) for Eyeke. The world is largely based on a sandy coast grassland type terrain. Server name is worldsbeyond and address is 65.75.211.73:25565

Current server capacity: 2 GB of RAM (low).

Eyeke Metaverse with Galactic 123 ClaimIt System

In line with the development of the metaverse, Galactic 123, along with the Eyeke Council, has been developing planet Eyeke in various aspects. This is what has been accomplished so far:

1) Eyeke planet has been added to Galactic 123 game. Trilium (TLM) has also been added to the Galactic 123 platform as well. This was accomplished during the 2023 Q4. Further inclusions will be achieved in 2024.

2) Two Spatial worlds have been created in the Spatial platform: Eyeke Valley and Eyeke Maze Funhouse. These were also accomplished during the 2023 Q4. Year 2024 should see at least two extra such places added.

3) The most recent addition to the Eyeke family is the Eyeke Minecraft server, where we are developing the world as closely to what Eyeke should be as possible, including certain landmarks. The server is operational, but it is still an ongoing work. Landmarks such as Center 4 Governance (C4G) and the Welcome Center will be added in early 2024.

The purpose of these Worlds is to get people engaged with the Alien Worlds metaverse. The grant funds will be used to further develop and tune fine these Eyeke metaversal worlds and to bring them full circle with the Alien Worlds metaverse in general, and bring more people into it.

ClaimIt System

The ClaimIt system is the most recent addition to the Eyeke metaverse. It allows the creation of a claim code, which can then be used to claim NFTs via the (Wax) blockchain. This system is proving effective in environments where we normally cannot place claim links, such as multiplayer games. Thanks to this system, it has been possible to show claim codes in Eyeke Minecraft and then have people be able to claim NFTs from it. We currently run various NFT scavenger hunts events around planet Eyeke (Minecraft) thanks to the ClaimIt system.

In year 2024, the ClaimIt system will be developed further to make it easier to use and more versatile. Additionally, Eyeke Minecraft is expected to include more features, such as rewarding points (if possible).

Grant funds will be used for this development as well.

Created slightly after the Alien Worlds Metaverse by a very experienced artist with a vast award winning portfolio, Shawn Dall, aka Chronamut, has developed and pieced together the biggest art and music collection gallery on the entire Wax Blockchain.

This project offers new utilities, lores, arts, and prestigious collaboration to our community. In order to establish this collaboration we will be entering a proposal of introduction worth 100k TLM to start the collaboration between the Community Council and the artist and 10k TLM as a professional fee for management services. Kavian.World NFT Scavenger Hunt

An NFT will be created and then hidden somewhere in Kavian.World Minecraft world. The idea is to have players go out and explore, in order to find this NFT. The NFT will be represented by a "coupon code", which can then be exchanged for the actual NFT. The NFT can be staked to obtain periodic rewards.

To prepare this scavenger hunt, 1500 is being requested. 1000 of the TLM is to be used to increase the reward pool of the staking pool, and the other 500 TLM is for the time invested in creating the NFT and hiding it on Kavian.World
