FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions, Kinda)To address three sets of questions from:
* Pre-purchase and early game questions to answer if peers ask about the game to answer.
* Post-credits "where do I go now" and early DLC questions.
* Frequently asked endgame questions after you've cleared the 3rd DLC story.

This does not contain any technical performance questions.
Originally attempted to avoid this being a build guidance or build suggestion document.
UPDATE: MAY 26, 2025
Some corrections to Lancer 250%'s side attack with Lance on the Job Affinity sheets, Mace's rear attack link, and estimated potency sheet's Shield Thrust, that tapping the Guard button during these actions will trigger parry effects.

Otherwise, there other updates other than correcting some older values here and there. Updated testing conditions with the latest patch since some of this contained erroneous and outdated info from previous patches or previously published material.

(e.g., Chaosbringer being +100% break damage dealt and not multiplicative as previously documented.
Duelist (Cutthroat)'s After Image being +30% break damage dealt and not 17.5%.
Lightbringer's break damage dealt being +20% and not ~10%.
Alexander's debuff affects Strength and Intellect by 30, then Agility / Stamina / Spirit / Luck by 20.
Adjusted numbers for Protect/Shell, near death Protect/Shell, and Mighty Guard to plug into a mitigation formula better:
i.e., instead of Mighty Guard reducing damage by 33.3%, will be listed as damage resistance 50% with the mitigation formula being: incoming damage / (1 + damage taken/resistance) for each bucket.).
Corrected error about Mighty Guard and Protect/Shell being in separate buckets, they are in the same bucket of mitigation.





I just wanted to reassure you there haven't been any new patches since February 2023 when you come across this sheet. :-)

The Job Details, Job Affinities, Summon Stats, Command Abilities, and Fashion are mostly good (ignore any mention of Potency as that needs to be recalculated - but could still give an idea of the way things were.)

Please let me know if there are corrections and typos. There are also some color schemes leftover (and this may reflect things I need to or want to address. If you ever see the color red, a strikethrough on the font, or some other color scheme that is difficult to read - please know that information is not yet meant to be read / requires correction / attention.

Feel free to save a copy from time to time if you want to hide or move columns / rows around, change colors, etc. The spreadsheet though does get updated or corrected from time to time.

Also, feel free to use this info to update any wikis out there - though would still recommend verifying the info with a test or view in-game before posting in case of typos, patch changes, or incomplete testing methods resulting in incorrect info.

I realize I did not put this tidbit in the spreadsheet directly and only the posts referencing the link. It was taking me more time to format a wiki for a single job affinity table that when I timed myself, was able to record 15 jobs' worth of affinities in the same amount of time in a regular document. This is where I say, someone wiki savvier than me can update the wikis.

Spreadsheet updates since October 25, 2023
* Updated Stats ranking for each job based on how much stats they get at endgame with 800% job affinities and summon stats.
* Populated stat bonuses for daggers and MP costs of several missing items on the experimental potency page.
* Updated Job Limit Release unlock locations to include arcanium chests in the Rift.
* Updated Marauder 250%'s influence on damage.
* Updated Summon Stats page to some degree and included weapon drop down in case you want to make a copy of the spreadsheet and filter by weapon, then filter by stat

(View 1) Jobs BriefThis sheet contains the base game jobs, the Trials of the Dragon King DLC jobs and their respective job promotions.

On mobile, the sheet tab may appear at the top.
On a desktop browser, the sheet tab may appear at the bottom.
There may be small right arrow keys to view the other sheets as this document gets unwieldly.
Note: The links on the left don't seem to work on a mobile browser for me - I sorry! Don't know why.

(View 2) Jobs DetailedContains the info in View 1, but with the job tree passives added up for the core job, the combo ability effects, limit release (level cap increase) missions, and some other details on the abilities or functions.

The stat nodes for the Evocation and Ultima jobs will vary from job to job, but generally increase all the core stats, plus some status ailment resistance and elemental vulnerability resistance.

Job Stats by LevelImporting the old job stats sheet to view the HP and primary stats of a job at milestone levels.

May have to scroll to the right. Might need to be updated again after DLC3 for the primary stats.

Job AffinitiesA series of tables with the job affinities and at the bottom, a brief explanation of the Evocation and Ultima affinities from the first DLC and the Summon's Blessings from the second DLC.
There are View 2 and View 3 if looking for an alternate viewing format.

Some answers may not yet be known such as the effectiveness of Thief's Treasure Hunter.

Command AbilitiesA list of the command abilities in the game and some of the findings on those abilities.

DLC 2 Red AccessoriesA list of artifact accessories and summon badges and their effects by name. (primarily to avoid re-formatting the Job Affinities sheet with ability names).

Sorted alphabetically by the accessory name, except for the summon badges (floor 101+) those are toward the bottom.

Stat ExplanationsAn overview of the stats in the game to address frequently asked questions since the game's launch if the answer is known.

Some items are missing and for anything that requires further clarification, will update if a question is asked and clarification requested.

Smithing Values at Max (WIP)(This sheet is undergoing construction. Just note that the Ultima / Evocation X is about x4.4 the value of the smithing value.)

Even the smithing order has changed and needs to be adjusted.

Summon / Eidolon Blessings Affinity Effects on StatsContains preliminary info for stats being provided by the Summon's Blessings / Eidolon Blessings. Please note that this may not reflect the actual value, but a rough estimate based on the data collected.

For example, if 100% Valefor says 0 Stamina, you may still be getting Stamina and won't receive 1 Stamina until Valefor is at say... 200%. (There is no Valefor eidolon at this time, just an example until we have more data.).

Also a note, that the summon / eidolon percentage does not affect the potency of the actual blessing. (e.g. +1000% Ifrit does not increase the damage multiplier from Ifrit, etc.)

FashionDisplays a visual of the costume set types available to Jack.
Drop locations are a work in progress, but the armors themselves have set locations they can drop at per mission.

Other sheets are works are far less complete or experimental (e.g., incomplete math and testing, but posted anyway within a single workbook.)

Such as the Experimental - Potency or updated DLC Job Stats (WIP).
Or you may find the list of missions hidden where we were started to record the drop locations of armor sets for aesthetic reasons. (Gathering screenshots of pieces now that glamour / refashion / transmogrification is available in DLC2)
Or a bestiary, that is months overdue at this point.
