Code Park Houston
Code Park Houston provides high quality Computer Science education for all underserved students in the Greater Houston
Area.

Invent to Learn
By equipping learners with project-based maker skills in addition to programming knowledge, students take ownership of
their deep learning process.

Ready for the Future
We close the gap in technology education for emerging job markets such as Data Science and Virtual Reality. In this
innovation-driven program, we work with students and educators to develop and evaluate curricula.

Coding in the Arts
Students become creators of technology rather than consumers through self-expression with music, art, and writing
enabled by programming knowledge and technology.

The Ripple Effect
We multiply our impact by training technology educators with professional development workshops to deliver our
innovative programs.
We work with each partner to customize a solution for the
partner site. Our programs can be either one time or long
term.

TWRC Wildlife Center
TWRC Wildlife Center cares for urban and suburban wildlife brought to the Center by the public. Many of these animals are
suffering from loss of their natural habitat and TWRC strives to teach children and adults, through public education, about
the wild animals with whom neighborhood ecosystems are shared.

TWRC Wildlife Center's education presentations include information as to how to help wildlife found in need, how to bring
them to TWRC for care, as well as how to determine whether or not an animal actually needs help or is better off left alone.
TWRC also introduces some of the Animal Ambassadors while sharing fun and educational facts about each species, how
they help to make our lives more comfortable and how certain animals actually help to keep us healthier. TWRC can customize
presentations to fit specific curriculum as well as offering many different options, such as birthday parties for all ages,
educational presentations for schools, libraries, scout meetings, community centers and senior living communities and more.
30 minute presentation - $200.00
45 minute presentation - $225.00
60 minute presentation - $250.00
Plus the cost of mileage from the center and returning at $0.575 per mile.

TWRC can add a craft activity for an additional $75.00 for up to 30 children and an additional $5 for each additional 10 children. TWRC can also customize a presentation to fit a specific curriculum or topic for an additional $100.00.
