Actually our school faced this in August of 2020. Our courageous head of school led the way. We sued Governor Whitmer and the Attorney General of Michigan. We fought the county health department. Libertas Classical Christian School in Hudsonville MI

No need to think about it. 😉 We are a Classical Christian School in a blue state (California) and we DID have mask mandates (and daily penalties for non-compliance). We didn’t comply. We stayed open, kept teaching, and preaching Christ, as did the church. And we are STILL dealing with the fines and penalties after more than three years. If my husband asked for counsel, I would say that the Cochrane meta analysis shows masks make no difference in the outcomes for respiratory viruses. So, the city council is wrong to think a mask mandate actually helps with anything other than being a visual sign of who complies with nonsense govt decrees and who doesn’t. In fact, masks harm children not only because of oxygen deprivation but cause skin problems and communication difficulties. I would not consent to allow them to harm children and would counsel to ignore or sue to stop the mandate. .

If just because big brother said so, the why they believe he did say so.
