Between X & C
Enter working trot rising.

Medium walk.
Straightness on centerline and in transition; clear trot and walk rhythm.77quite straight in trot. starts to drift and swing head in walk as you lose your focus thinking about the turn. don't lose your left aids to keep him straight as you plan your turn and don't wag his head-

M
Track right.

Working trot rising.
Balance and bend in turn. Quality of transition.66much too deep into corner at M- he can not make a 90 degree trun- ride the corner as if you are rtiding 1/4 of a 10m circle. transition to trot is AT M and you did not ask until you were past the letter. add energy and power- go forward! check your posting diagonals
12
3ACircle right 20 meters, working trot rising.Roundness and size of circle; clear trot rhythm and bend.66more square than circle- there are no straight lines on a circle. horse needs to trot more energetically- rider needs to develop stronger base of support from leg aids so that she does not lose her balance when horse pulls the reins
13
4K-X-MChange rein.Clear trot rhythm and straightness on diagonal; bend through corners.66straight but rider is leaning forward and balancing off reins so that horse can not move forward or stretch through his topline
14
5CCircle left 20 meters, working trot rising.Roundness and size of circle; clear trot rhythm and bend.66steady tempo, some bend but needs much more forward energy and relaxed topline. Rider is on wrong diagonal and balancing off of hands. work on a lear, definitive rhythm to the post-UP- DOWN- rather than hovering. lower leg and core need to strengthen to help with balance
15
6Between C & HMedium walk.Willing and balanced transition; clear walk rhythm.55transition to MW is between C and H not across the diagonal- accuracy mistakes cost points!
16
7H-X-FFree walk.Complete freedom to stretch neck forward and downward; clear walk rhythm, straightness on the diagonal; ground cover.55this is a very nice medium walk but should be a free walk- the horse should have a long rein and the freedom to stretch down and elongate his topline and swing thru the back

A
Medium walk.

Down centerline
Willing and balanced transition; clear walk rhythm, bending in corner and turn.

Straightness on centerline.
6.56.5drifts a bit- rider uses left leg to keep horse marching but then stops using it and allows horse to fall to the left- use legs not only as a driving aid but also to keep horse straight/bending
18
9XHalt and salute.Straightness; willing, balanced transition at halt.6.56.5immobile

Scores will be higher when rider is more accurate- quite a few points were lost due to accuracy issues. Allowing horse the freedom to move more forward will also improve score. As rider becomes stronger in her base of support/balance and is more able to relax rein, everything will get easier and scores will be much better. Riding is hard and it takes time to develop an independent seat and hand and the balance needed to adjust a 1200 pound horse. Best of luck in this awesome journey!
