1.Brief description of the organization.

The NGO Gold idea (est-MTÜ Kuldne idee) is a young non-profit organization established in April 2023.
Its members have good experience (5 years) working on projects in the field of basic education.
Our NGO works in the field of organizing accessible education and practice in modern conditions, expanding opportunities for identifying the talents of the population (children, youth and adults, developing culture, education, sports, participating in research activities, searching for innovative solutions, developing the digitalization of society. We are working on creating a strong knowledge base and skills of project activities, creation and participation in various regional and international projects, organization and participation in exhibitions, courses, master classes, seminars, conferences, joint events and camps, development of training plans and strategies, creation of educational materials and information explanatory work.

2.Describe the idea/strategy/methodology of how you want to create an events in your community and how you want to implement it.

The goal of the “Digital Compass: Guide to Media Literacy” project is to conduct information lessons in various schools in the region aimed at developing students’ digital literacy, including general education and hobby schools. Activities of the project "Digital Compass: Guide to Media Literacy":
Definition of Participants:
Educational institutions in the region that support the project and have accepted participation in it.
Development of Informative Lessons:
Create an introductory course on media literacy that includes topics on online safety, critical thinking, ethical behavior online, and creative content creation.
Conducting Informative Lessons:
Organization of lessons in schools, including hobby schools, with the active use of interactive teaching methods, games and discussions in Russian and Estonian.
Creative Master Classes:
Conducting creative master classes where students can apply their acquired knowledge by creating their own media content - from videos to design projects and artwork.
Final seminar:
Conducting a final conference to improve the level of digital literacy of participants with the participation of invited guests from the media sector. Exhibition of Creative Works "Pixels and Brushes: Artistic sketches in the era of media reality":
Organize an exhibition where participants can demonstrate their creative media literacy projects. This may include photos, videos, presentations, artwork and other creative forms.
Public Campaigns and Media:
Engaging the media to raise public awareness of the importance of media literacy in today's world.

3.Specify who will be your audience. How will you reach it, address it? (Communication Plan) Also indicate what assistance or cooperation would be needed for communication purposes. If possible, create a potential communication plan on the third page of the file. Also indicate how you will evaluate the impact of the lecture content on the audience (we offer a before/after questionnaire from the project).

Our audience will be Russian-speaking students of basic schools and hobby schools in the Ida-Viru region (Jõhvi, Sillamäe, Kohtla-Järve). To announce the events, preliminary work and agreement will be carried out with the heads of educational institutions via e-mail, telephone and personal visits to educational institutions, as well as information will be posted on social networks and announcements will be posted in schools. The city's youth organizations will also provide information about the project.
At the end of the project, a conference will be held with guest lecturers on media literacy and an exhibition of creative works will be held at Jõhvi Central City School.
