The narrative report of the said activity. In a significant step towards fostering academic collaboration and knowledge sharing, the Southern Leyte State University (SLSU) and the Bato Institute of Science and Technology (BIST) signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on June 02, 2023. The partnership primarily focuses on the collaboration of their respective libraries, aiming to enhance resource accessibility and promote academic excellence within the institutions.
The Signing of MOA was attended by our University President, Dr. Jude A. Duarte, Dr. Josephine K. Germano, School President (BIST), Dr. Dewoowoogen P. Baclayon, Vice President for Students and Auxiliary Services (SLSU), Ms. Geanrose L. Colonia, University Librarian (SLSU), Ms. Alexa Erine Joyce G. Lecaros, Executive Vice President (BIST), and Ms. Gea B. Castro, Assistant Librarian (BIST).
It was also attended by Dr. Synamar P. Yuag, SAS Director of SLSU, T.O. Librarian, Ms. Lovelee Fernandez, Main library staff, and BIST faculty and staff.
