Chapter DescriptionKnocking at the door, Waking up at the desk Lukas stands up, eyes adjusting to the desk lamp. Player gets control as another knock happens with the neighbour announcing there is a letter.
Player goes over to interact with the letter peaking out from under the door.
Letter is read aloud detailing a puzzle to solve. (Lukas must prove himself)
A phone number is the result and the player must make the call which a young female voice can be heard(Hazel). Explains to Lukas there will be a cab waiting for him and a private plane is booked. Dont forget!
Lukas thinks to pack his bags with all the equipment he will need:

= Polaroid Camera
= Journal
= Hand Cuffs
= Tape Recorder/ Dictaphone
= Evidence Bags

Fade/ Transition to Travel Sequence.
Player has control to look around the scene but from sat in their seat. Player is given an envolope with a tape recording inside. Bordeaux introduces himself and the reason why he needs the help "ive recieved a threat, ive invited all those I suspect ".Player walks up to the lodge, interacts with the door (either opens or does a transition to where Lukas is now stood inside).
Elliot is stood infront.
Elliot's Dialogue is forced (Either by him walking over or if you try walking past him then it forces you into dialogue),
Doesnt recognise you until he checks the list - then offers you room key and directs you to the bar while he takes bags to Lukas' room.
Talk to the following guests to introduce yourself;
- Sammy
- Hazel and Vincent - Offers Lukas a drink but leaves to search for a non alcoholic alternative (Player must return)
- Ingrid
- Bordeaux and Gisela
Lukas returns to Hazel once she is behind the bar again - collects his rupee beer as a smashing noise can be heard from the other side of the bar.
Gisela knocks over a glass and it smashes, Bordeaux tells her off and storms off to his study.

Julian enters the room during this and new dialogue is unlocked;
- Julian
- Gisela
- Ingrid
- Bordeaux
[Player has the choice to speak to them in any order - Bordeaux's dialogue triggers chapter 2 however the unread dialogue is still available]
Bordeaux formally introduces himself and they chat about the case - Lukas asking questions and being recommended to try sneak into some rooms of the following people;
- Julian, Leonardo, Sammy
Player can:
* Talk to guests - find a room key/ which rooms are open.
* Explore Lodge - see they have access to 3 rooms;
- Leonardo's where they find the gun in the book and feel the need to tell Bordeaux
- Julian's where they find the real reason why he was fired in a letter. Story different to the one he tells in dialogue
* While investigating Julian's room, Elliot can be heard dropping bags outside of the room. He then walks into Julian's room and catches Lukas snooping. (They have a conversation and Elliot promises not to say anything)
- Sammy and Elliot's where the player cant get into sammys room but can access via the bathroom, find encoded notes between one another. (Looking like they knew Lukas was invited)
Once the player has found all 3 evidences and spoken to Bordeaux then Dinner is triggered.
* Dinner Sequence - [Enter dinner sequence] conversations with guests leading to Ingrid saying "Come see me later and I could give you a tarot reading ", First convo with Leonardo who is stand off ish. and invites you to play a card game with him later.
- Julian argument with Bordeaux - Sammy compliments to break the awkwardness - Elliot makes mess and leaves after being yelled at.
* Back to Lobby with rest of the guests (Talking to guests) - Leonardo challenges you to poker to gain information, Ingrid offers Tarot Cards - Other give opinion on how dinner went [Elliot is missing]. Sammy leaves to check on Elliot only if the player engages in dialogue first out of the guests, doesnt decide to leave otherwise.
* Dialogue with characters complete - Bordeaux taps his glass to announce his speech. Stand in line with the bar and half way through the speech the lights go out and a gun shot is heard.

Purpose/ AimTo introduce mechanics, set the tone of the story, introduce characters; Bordeaux and Hazel.Giving the player the full information as to what is in store for them/ what the case is about.
Establishing the objective of the game.
Introduce characters more info from Bordeaux about who he suspects. Player will produce their own assumptions on each player until Bordeaux directs them to which 3 to start investigating .Build up information/suspicion about guests. (JS,LE), Also an opportunity to talk with Bordeaux more before he is killed, mostly to gain information like who he suspects.Increase tension between Bordeaux and Julian, and to show that Elliot and Bordeaux do not get along very well.Allow player to gain more information about the guests.

Notes to ConsiderKnock / potentially no dialogue from neighbour just knocks.

Doesnt give too many detailas away in the invitation letter. Just that he should prove himself via solving the puzzle.

Tone: Little more fearful but still trying to be composed thinking he has control.
Wine is on plane. Attached is a price tag.
Player may find Elliot the most suspect as he is the only one with the time after leaving dinner first to setup the gun. Potential solution could be that once the gun is found on the shelf Hazel mentions in Dialogue later on that she doesnt even use those plates/ clean up there - The gun couldve been placed before I even arrived to setup.
