Purpose

The purpose of this sheet is to track sales leads to ensure action is being taken on them. If responsibility is shared, you can see who is working with which leads. This projects the opportunities by month so you can see what potential revenue is coming.

If you have a lead ID system, you can change format by highlighting the cells and pressing ctrl + 1. Right now custom format is 000 for three digits, you may change this.

Statuses are set in data validation, then list, go here to change the statuses.

You may change colors of the statuses by selecting the column and going to conditional formatting, manage rules and you will see the colors associated with the statuses, change them here.

If you have standard industries or other fields, I suggest using data validation drop downs like above to make summarizing data easy.

Review the column headings and make changes as necessary to fit your business needs.

To add rows, I recommend going to middle of sheet right clicking and insert rows, this way you don't have to add on to formulas. Verify they are correct.

Column S has white text on the lead tracking tab as it's a helper column, careful not to edit that.

All inputs should be on the Lead Tracking Tab. The only edits needed on the Forecast sheet would be color changes and changes to the charts if you so choose.

The dashboard includes a section on total opportunities for the year. I generally focus the team on gaining qualified leads so therefore I excluded unqualified from the total because it directs attention to ensure the best they can they are logical leads. You may change that formula.
