| 1 | Katamari Damacy | 13.05.2023 | 13.05.2023 | 04:27 | fluf | 7 | The controls take some getting used to but rolling stuff up into an evergrowing ball is just an inherently fun thing to do. Some of the levels are a bit confusing at first which can get frustrating due to the time limit constantly looming over you, but the chilled out constellation levels work as a nice change of pace from the challenge. Bonus points for the iconic soundtrack. Thumps up. | Part 1-2
| 2 | Way of the Samurai | 15.05.2023 | 16.05.2023 | 03:32 | Junior | 7 | Really cool game with a sick soundtrack and an interesting branching storyline. I just couldn't fully get into it because of the combat which was pretty challenging for me even on Easy. I could see this game being very rewarding to master for the true gamers that can handle it. Might revisit later. | Part 1
| 3 | Crazy Frog Racer | 18.05.2023 | 18.05.2023 | 04:04 | Kyskke | 5 | Surprisingly fun to play despite, or because of, all the little bugs crawling in the game code. I was constantly clipping through the floor and sometimes my vehicle would just randomly stop in the middle of a race but boosting on an uphill and getting huge airtime that lets you skip a large chunk of the track never gets old! Bing bing! | Part 1
| 4 | Fatal Frame | 19.05.2023 | 20.05.2023 | 07:37 | Spencer | 4 | Great vibes and creative "combat" system undermined by puzzles that make you run around the same corridors of the mansion multiple times and constantly facing random ghost encounters that start to get tedious pretty quickly. The story wasn't very interesting either. | Part 1-2
| 5 | Buzz! Junior: Jungle Party | 21.05.2023 | 21.05.2023 | 00:26 | Dizzy | 5 | Good party game but pretty useless as a single player experience. | Part 1
| 6 | Horsez | 25.05.2023 | 28.05.2023 | 07:44 | sdruuba | 4 | It's so embarrassing how long it took me to realize I could fill my daily schedule with things other than the horse minigames even though the game literally teaches you this. The gameplay gets very dull and repetitive even with the little adventure/stealth levels thrown in to shake things up, but all the cutscenes and learning about the characters' stories was enjoyable. | Part 1-3
| 7 | Contra: Shattered Soldier | 28.05.2023 | 02.06.2023 | 03:45 | Bukki | 5 | Wicked fun run & gun action with nonstop spectacle filled with so much creativity on display that would make this an easy winner, but for some reason they thought a game from 2002 should have limited lives and continues, topped off by the last few levels being locked behind the "Normal" difficulty. | Part 1-2
| 8 | 50 Cent: Bulletproof | 02.06.2023 | 29.08.2024 | 08:56 | meli | 3 | Decent looking game with a pretty good soundtrack and an entertaining enough nonsense story about drug trafficking or whatever. The gameplay features some of the worst gunplay I've ever experienced and every mission just devolves into a cacophony of gunshots and the same three voicelines of the specific type of goon that inhabit any given area, who can melt your health bar in a matter of seconds. Gotta give credit for the illest game over screen in any game though. | Part 1-4
| 9 | Hannah Montana: Spotlight World Tour | 30.08.2024 | 31.08.2024 | 03:35 | taco | 5 | Cute game with good songs and fun cutscenes reminiscent of the show, and you can go shopping to customize your character! I made Ska-nnah Montana! The rhythm game part is very forgiving cause it's a game made for kids but I'm ass at rhythm games so I didn't mind. | stopped recording these sorry
| J1 | Pipo Saru 2001 | 31.08.2024 | 31.08.2024 | 03:21 | Cleo | 5 | Pretty fun little arcade-y title where you collect the apes' pants using a vacuum cleaner in bitesized levels with a time limit. The levels and music aren't very inspired and the game gets repetitive but it's short enough where it's not much of an issue. I've always been curious about these Japan exclusive Ape Escape games so it was nice to finally try one out.
| 10 | The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring | 01.09.2024 | 02.09.2024 | 05:38 | RNG | 4 | Playing as Frodo in this game is unbearable, the part near the beginning where you sneak past the Nazgûl in the Shire is probably the worst stealth mission I've ever played. The game gets better when you meet Aragorn cause he has a cool voice and you get to kick dudes to the ground as him.
| 11 | Butt-Ugly Martians: Zoom or Doom! | 02.09.2024 | 02.09.2024 | 01:56 | RNG | 2 | Completely mindless Wipeout clone based on one of the worst cartoons of the 2000s. The game only has 9 levels, most of which you have to do 2-3 times to beat the Conqueror's Cup. At least the music is pretty good...
| 12 | Godzilla: Save the Earth | 04.09.2024 | 04.09.2024 | 00:56 | RNG | 2 | Getting to look at cool concept art for Godzilla: Final Wars is the best part of the game, otherwise it's just a slow and boring fighting game that thankfully is at least very short and easy. Who is Mr. Soup?
| 13 | 18 Wheeler: American Pro Trucker | 04.09.2024 | 04.09.2024 | 01:39 | Deg | 6 | Strange and charming combination of Crazy Taxi-esque arcade racing and a truck sim. The arcade mode is very short at only four levels and there's an inexplicable difficulty spike on the third one but it's a great time all the way through and I can definitely see myself playing through it again every now and then.
| 14 | The Weakest Link | 05.09.2024 | 05.09.2024 | 01:51 | RNG | 5 | Cute adaptation of the game show, I love the characters and Anne's classic quips, but some of the questions are insultingly easy and some of them are crazy even on junior difficulty.
| 15 | Myth Makers: Trixie in Toyland | 07.09.2024 | 07.09.2024 | 01:33 | RNG | 2 | Just a lazy, cynical cash grab. There's not a single thing about this game that's good or interesting in any way. Horrible to look at, listen to and interface with.
| 16 | Sonic Riders | 07.09.2024 | 07.09.2024 | 03:17 | Kyskke | 6 | Very fun racing game where you boost around on cool hoverboards at unprecedented speeds! The second Babylon Garden level definitely reminds you you're playing a Sonic game, it even made me cry when I played this as a kid, but it's not nearly as difficult as I remembered. I wish Shadow and Rouge appeared in story mode but we got Wave in this game so it's not all bad.
| 17 | Space Channel 5 | 08.09.2024 | 08.09.2024 | 03:00 | RNG | 3 | Imagine making a game with one gameplay mechanic and it doesn't function. Had to use save states to beat it and even then it was a chore thanks to your success being mostly up to chance. It's a shame too cause everything else about this game is so fun and charming.
| 18 | Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader: Make the Grade | 08.09.2024 | 08.09.2024 | 02:27 | sdruuba | 4 | I guess I'm not.
| 19 | Ape Escape 2 | 09.09.2024 | 13.09.2024 | 18:36 | Cleo | 9 | Simply one of the greatest collectathon platformers ever made. Not quite as aesthetically distinct as the first game, couple of the levels feel a bit drab and some of the new gadgets are way too situational, but I'd say the overall package is an improvement and it's a joy to play from beginning to end. I went for 100% completion which meant I had to grind for money to feed my gacha addiction but I love all the little fables and comics you get as a reward, not to mention the great minigames. Let's play Monkey Football!
| 20 | Ice Age 2: The Meltdown | 14.09.2024 | 14.09.2024 | 03:01 | RNG | 4 | Kinda whatever platformer but there's some variety in the gameplay and environments so it doesn't get too boring. Also has one of the most anticlimactic endings of all time.
| 21 | Dragon Ball Z: Sagas | 14.09.2024 | 14.09.2024 | 02:55 | RNG | 3 | Never watched Dragon Ball and after seeing all the frantically edited cutscenes summarizing the show's events I don't think I need to. The gameplay is pretty dull, fighting the same enemies over and over gets very boring. At least after I found the infinite combo to trump every boss with ease I got through the game pretty quick.
| 22 | Little Britain: The Video Game | 16.09.2024 | 16.09.2024 | 01:18 | RNG | 1 | God, I fucking hate British people.
| 23 | Wheel of Fortune | 16.09.2024 | 16.09.2024 | 00:48 | LawDraws | 4 | I don't really like Wheel of Fortune but I like Vanna White and it's kinda fun with friends.
| 24 | Chulip | 16.09.2024 | 19.09.2024 | 22:00 | Kyskke | 6 | Vibes as all hell. Exploring the world not knowing what kind of strange creatures and events you'll encounter next evokes a real childlike wonder, and having to spend what little money you earn on train tickets and various items for quests really puts you in the shoes of a poor kid in a quaint new town. The townsfolk have a lot of character thanks to their expressive designs and unique Banjo-Kazooie gibberish voices. There's a lot of atmosphere in the lighting and sound design, my favourite bit being the Cupcakke-ass moaning crows you hear every evening. Having to adhere to a real-time daily schedule makes the game more immersive but it also means you often have to wait hours of in-game time to meet a character at a specific point in their routine. The game also tells you very little and you will need to continuously check the manual to know what to do next, but even with a guide in hand a lot of the quests are way too convoluted. This isn't helped by how punishing the game is, the kiss opportunities for some of the underground dwellers are insanely short and even a small mistake can lead to a death which can sometimes mean having to redo an unreasonable amount of progress. I reached my breaking point in the factory level and had to start save state scumming 'cause there's only so many times I can do the company tour, find the lazy guard, hide, get on the train and put in the station number just to miss Mecha-Yodzilla's viva by 0.2 seconds. And if not the factory, the final challenge surely would've done it. Definitely a good game, not one I'm likely to revisit but one I'll remember fondly.
| 25 | Fame Academy: Dance Edition | 25.11.2024 | 25.11.2024 | 02:10 | RNG | 5 | Perfectly fine dance mat type rhythm game with a pretty good soundtrack. The selection of songs in career mode is different depending on whether you choose a male or female character so I ended up beating this game twice just to do them all.
| 26 | Ape Escape: Pumped & Primed | 26.11.2024 | 27.11.2024 | 04:27 | Cleo | 4 | Pretty bad spinoff party game. There's only a handful of minigames and while they at least try to utilize mechanics from the main series, they're just tedious to play and you have to do each one way too many times throughout the campaign. The boss fights are insanely boring and take way too long to beat with the exception of the final boss which I actually found pretty engaging. Unsurprisingly, the music is pretty good, and the character-specific intermission cutscenes are very charming. Probably a better game with two players.
| 27 | Guitar Hero | 27.11.2024 | 28.11.2024 | 02:09 | RNG | 3 | I'm bad at these and I don't like them. The song selections are questionable to begin with but it's made ten times worse by all of them being terrible covers instead of the originals. Good bye.
| 28 | Tokyo Xtreme Racer: Zero | 28.11.2024 | 03.12.2024 | 21:21 | RNG | 7 | Cool vibes, fun tunes and fast cars! The gameplay loop of driving around and challenging thugs from various gangs to street races is surprisingly simple and addictive. Having no story or dialogue to interrupt the pacing makes it very easy to just chill out and lose yourself in the game while chipping away at the available encounters, getting challenged by gang leaders and unlocking new areas of the map. Upgrading your car with better parts and being able to take down even speedier goons is very satisfying but it's kinda hard to tell which upgrades and new cars are the best or how to tune them effectively. Maybe if you're a car guy or just more familiar with racing games it's more apparent but I was mostly flying blind. Great game though.
| 29 | LEGO Racers 2 | 09.12.2024 | 09.12.2024 | 04:28 | RNG | 3 | Pretty lousy kart racer where you drive around uninspired environments and use largely useless items on your foes while at any moment the game can decide to make your car spin out and throw you in the drink. It took me getting stuck on the ice golem boss and looking up strategies to find out you can get car upgrades by playing minigames you can find when exploring the levels. Most of the game was already very easy but after getting a couple engine upgrades the rest was trivial, which makes sense for a kids' game.
| 30 | Family Feud | 10.12.2024 | 10.12.2024 | 01:46 | RNG | 2 | Painfully slow and has really terrible guess correction. I wrote in "The Dating Game" as an answer and the game said it's wrong, then the opponent guessed "Dating Game" and it was correct. The show was literally called THE Dating Game!!
| 31 | Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 | 13.01.2025 | 14.01.2025 | 03:17 | Cleo | 8 | The first Pro Skater was already revolutionary, and while Pro Skater 2 improved on it in pretty much every way, this is where they really started to perfect the gameplay. Some of the levels, namely Airport, still hold up perfectly against series best. The soundtrack is great too, though I wish they would've used one of the many other great songs by Motörhead and Ramones instead of the biggest hits but oh well.
| 32 | Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 | 18.05.2025 | 23.05.2025 | 12:57 | Cleo | 9 | After Pro Skater 3 pretty much perfected the moment-to-moment gameplay, Pro Skater 4 had to switch things up on a grander scale, going from the run-based gameplay of old to big open levels with missions, minigames and collectables scattered all around. Not all the missions are winners but the updated gameplay structure lets you play at your own pace, doing missions, focusing on collectables, or just chilling and skating around for fun. Great levels, banging soundtrack, and fun secrets and unlocks to boot!
