13Access to hot water is a major problem in many third-world countries. You could use the approach described in #9 to just heat water for houses in improverished neighborhoods. You might need to provide an adapter to handle different battery shapes

9Battery packs can be used in parallel to power a small motor which rotates a parabolic dish to track the movement of the sun. This then provides head to a sterling engine. 5Develop adapter to fit a significant % of cell phone batteries. Put several in parallel or series to increase voltage or current/capactiy. Adaptor will also be a closed box for moisture / dust protection. - Maybe include charge regulators in box (depends on cost). - Box will have standard connector(s) to attach to lights or other devices
