HOW TO USE:
1. Delete all the drop down menu cells.
3
2. Choose genes from the drop down menus from left to right.
4
3. Combine phenotypes of Base Coat and White Spotting for complete phenotype.
5
6
Base Coat
NN means gene not present
7

Delete content from cells before using. Always select genes from left to right!

(Pc) = pearl carrier (Nprl)
13
(+/- PM) = may display primitive markings (recessive dun); dorsal stripe most common, may also show leg stripes
14
(Zc) = silver carrier (may be ZN or ZZ); Any ee horse may carry silver but will not display
15
(Fc) = flaxen carrier (Nf); only possible with ee based horse

Phenotype:
Gray Roan Appaloosa
22
23
*Roan, Sabino, Tobiano: all located on the KIT gene; can be heterozygous for two but not homozygous for any if displayed together
24
Roaning Colors: Roan on Black = Blue Roan; Roan on Bay = Bay Roan; Roan on Chestnut = Strawberry Roan
25
**Leopard Pattern: LpN horses will display less white than LpLp; typically, LpN will have white with areas of color (spots) and LpLp will have solid white; SEE IMAGES IN NOTE
26
Leopard Pattern Terms: NLp = Leopard Appaloosa, Blanket Appaloosa, Snowflake Appaloosa; LpLp = Snowcap Appaloosa, Varnish Roan Appaloosa, Few Spot Appaloosa (many more!)

Other Colors/Patterns with Genes
29
These patterns are possible in Alemencas and dominate the phenotype (always displayed over other colors/modifiers if present).
30
Dominant White:
NN = no dominant white
31
NW = dominant white carrier in Alemenca
32
WW = dominant white; entire horse will be white
33
Mushroom: only occurs only on ee based Alemenca
34
NN = no mushroom
35
MuN = mushroom carrier
36
MuMu = mushroom displayed; will be a mushroom color with flaxen mane/tail (flaxen gene may or may not be present; flaxen mane/tail present even without flaxen gene)
37
Rabicano:NN = no rabicano
38
NRb or RbRb = rabicano
39
Pangare: only occurs on non-black Alemenca
40
NN = no pangare
41
NPng or PngPng = pangare
