Caffeine Classic 2019 Sign-up Sheet
Note: for Team, list a captain or cox; leave blank if in a single
2
The Caffeine Classic is our internal club end-of-the-year fun race! You do not have to be fast to win. Those who come closest to their guessed time are the winners!

Pot Luck Contribution
Although we call it a race, and we do indeed try to be fast, this is not a serious race. The Caffeine Classic is a fun event that tries to bring out as many club members as possible for a last row before the end of the season. Any mixed or traditional lineup works! If you do not yet have a lineup – no problem. Please read on.

1Sarah Perreault
Orange juice and apple cider(cups if needed)
More important than the race is the potluck breakfast we share after everyone is back in the clubhouse. The social committee will make an attempt at coordinating what you are asked to bring. The time guess winners will be announced and get to choose from a selection of small prizes.

We’ll gather in the clubhouse at 7 am to check in, write our time guess on a sheet, collect our bow number, and receive last minute instructions. If you’re not part of a lineup, we’ll match you up. We’ll be sure to keep things safe.

We’ll try to launch around 7:30 am and row down around the second island. Line up by bow number. The start is around 8:15 am and is just south of the second island, and the finish is at the dock. The start is never in exactly the same place as the year before, but the course is about 3.5 km long. Speedcoaches are not allowed in the boats.
