COURSE DESCRIPTIONAnatomy and Physiology: Principles and Applications (APPA) Investigates the structure and function of the human body, in the context of the chemical and physical principles that govern life. APPA introduces conceptual frameworks such as energy transformation, flows, mechanical constraints, and control policies that can explain anatomical structures and model physiological processes. The course demonstrates how cells, tissues, and organ systems work together for body maintenance and movement, and applies anatomical and physiological understanding to specific areas of pathology or performance.
