Michael A. DeMayo Scholarship$2,500Deadline March 27th, 202315 scholarships will be awarded to current high school seniors in 26 counties in North Carolina. Eligible students must have a 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA, be accepted for full time enrollment at an accredited 4 year university. An Essay, billboard, TikTok that discourage underage drinking and driving, distracted driving and highlights the dangers of each of these MUST be accompanied along with the scholarship application and official transcript. Omega PSI PHI Fraternity Scholarship VariesDeadline: Postmarked by March 18th, 2023Eligilbe students will be current high school seniors planning to enroll fulltime at an accredited college or univeristy in the Fall of 2023. Students must provide an official transcript with the application along with a cover letter of 200-250 words expressing "The Significance of Winning this Scholarship." Steve Rostan Memorial Scholarship $4,000Available in the Spring Scholarship sponsored by the American Legion Post 234. Open to seniors at EBHS and Draughn High School. Eligible students must plan to pursue a degree or certification at the community college, trade school or university. The Profile in Courage Essay Contest (national)$10,000January 13th, 2023This scholarship will require students to write a 700-1000 word original and creative essay that demonstrates the understanding of political courage as described by John F. GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program (national)$10,000+ yr.
Application Opens in Fall 2022
Each year, the Program selects numerous recipients to receive a $10,000 scholarship renewable for up to an additional three years – up to $40,000 total per recipient. Awards are for undergraduate study and may be used for education-related expenses, including tuition, fees, books, supplies, room, and board. In addition, Scholars are invited to participate in a special awards program and receive ongoing leadership-development support. Students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
