Enter working trot rising.

Halt through medium walk.
Salute - Proceed working trot rising.
Regularity, qualityof trot; willing, calm transitions; straightness; attentiveness; immobility (min. 3 seconds)66poorly prepared turn onto CL- very left. if you are not going to hit the line correctly, circle and try again. you are losing points
12
2CTrack left, working trot rising.Regularity; bend and balance in turn and corner66counterbent thru corner. better energy here but horse's body is bulging into rider's inside leg and he is looking out. use inside aids
13
3ECircle left 20 meters, working trot rising.Regularity; shape and size of circle; bend; balance6.56.5nice forward energy, inconsistent in the bend- horse pushes against inside leg but does remain flexed to the inside, horse drifts off the rail after circle
14
4Between K & AMedium walk.Willing, calm transition; regularity, quality5.55.5unclear trans- should be a clear moment from trot to walk- horse shuffles, then good effort to get march but horse is tense and jigs, losing straightness
15
5F-EFree walk.Regularity, reach, and ground cover with overtrack of free walk allowing complete freedom to stretch the neck forward and downward66rider behind movement causes tension. in FW horse needs to stretch much more forward and down. This is a lovely MW!! Super march, nicely thru the back, and rider is sitting well. use this as your model for the MA and for FW allos much longer rein and relax your back and seat to encourage your horse to relax, too.
16
6E-HMedium walk.Willing, calm transition; regularity, quality, overtrack66video poor here and horse out of frame. horse continues to walk but rude and snatches reins from rider
17
7Between H & CWorking trot rising.Willing, calm transition; regularity of trot; bend and balance in corner66horse out of frame for trans but is trotting when able to see again. be sure you have horse bending and flexed to the inside
18
8BCircle right 20 meters, working trot rising.Regularity; shape and size of circle; bend; balance66needs energy and bend. circle shape flattens and looks more like oval. work to keep horse moving away from your inside leg and seat bone to help with line of travel and bend

Down centerline.

Halt through medium walk. Salute.
Bend and balance in turn; straightness; regularity of trot; willing, calm transition; straightness; attentiveness; immobility (min. 3 seconds)5.55.5very wide of CL. rider needs to plan and use half halts. This was the 4th CL I watched from this pair and all 4 were left of CL!! PRACTICE accuracy. Halt can be thru the MW but that is a couple of steps- be more prompt
20
Leave arena in free walk. Exit at A.

Nice team. Rider needs to work on her accuracy! Too many points are lost due to easy accuracy issues. Horse was better in forward first half of test- keep that energy. Bend is an issue and, again, lack of correct bedn decreases score. This is a good rider but some adjustments to her position will improve quality of work- rider tends to get behind the motion at times which hollows horse. Leg and seat aids need to be the first thing and then rein aids. I look forward to seeing this pair progress thru the levels. Good Luck!
