Reporting Time WorkedHours WorkedHourly employees reporting hours workedUse this time reporting code when entering time for regularly scheduled hours worked.

Comp Time Accrued RegularBenefit eligible employees only
(Accrues at 1.5 to 1)
Select this code when accruing comp time (or when you wish to save Overtime to be taken at a later time) if you work over 40 hours in a week.

Select this code when accruing comp time (or when you wish to save Overtime to be taken at a later time) if you work over 40 hours in a week.

On Call Leave AccruedBenefit eligible employees - you can choose to be paid or accrue leaveMaximum - 100 hours can be accrued - entered on time card when employee wishes to accrue On Call Hours to be taken at a later time as On Call Leave Taken

On Call Hours PaidBenefit eligible employees (non-students) who are on callSupervisor will tell them - Entered on time card when employee wishes to be paid for On Call Hours worked during the pay period at the rate of 1 hour each weeknight and 2 hours each weekend day or holiday.

Holiday Accrued RegularEmployees who work on a holiday and want to accrue as comp time.Enter the number of hours worked on the Holiday that you wish to accrue for later use.

Holiday Worked PaidEmployees who worked on a university holidayEnter the number of hours worked on the Holiday that you wish to be paid for in this pay period.

Using Paid and Unpaid LeaveVacationBenefit Eligible EmployeesHourly employees have two options to enter leave: 1) Add leave through Add Absence OR 2) Add leave directly to your time card (recommended).

If you request an absence through Add Absence, the approved time auto-populates on your time card.

If you submit an absence in Add Absence and then need to make adjustments (eg change duration of absence) you must edit the absence request rather than make the changes on your time card; if you do not make adjustments to the Absence request, the original absence duration submitted will be honored rather than the changes made on the time card.

Sick LeaveBenefit Eligible EmployeesHourly employees have two options to enter leave: 1) Add leave through Add Absence OR 2) Add leave directly to your time card (recommended).

On Call Leave TakenBenefit eligible employees can take leave if have "On Call Leave" balance.Supervisor will tell them - entered on time card when employee wishes to use On Call Leave Accrued.

Leave Without PayYou can use this to take leave if you do not have a sufficent absence balance. Leave Without Pay must be preapproved by the supervisor if less than 5 consecutive days. If more than 5 days a form must be completed and approved in advance by department and HR.

Hourly employees can add leave directly to their time card.
