The Digital Learning Team, a branch of the ISAL Department, works in partnership with other CO departments to allow schools to integrate instructional based technology within their day to day instructional practices. We believe that all students should have equal access to technology and through these CO partnerships, we are ensuring that all students are prepared to be digital citizens.Department Manager

Ignite PlanWork to implement/support the ignite plan and implementation cohorts. This includes student and teacher training, digitial citizenship, personalized learning through student voice and choice.
Workflow: Director will assign Digital Learning Coaches to work with each cohort that is either planning, implementing, or monitoring the ignite plan. Coaches will work with schools as part of their Digital Learning Team to implement technology on campuses.

Personalized Professional DevelopmentThe DLT will provide personalized professional development in order to implement the ignite plan, support those at central office and meet the needs of schools in accordance with their SIPS.

Workflow: Requests can come in through principals/building leaders to provide PD to Director of Digital Learning Team. Director works with Coaches to provide traings/professional developements to meet the needs of the request. These request may also come from CO departments.

* Department head will research a framework that can be utilized for all teachers to understand the benefits of flexible learning spaces.
* DLT Team receives PD on Learning Spaces (davidjakesdesigns.com)
* DLT works with Building Services & Schools around Pedagogy of Space.

On Boarding DocumentCreate Onboarding Document for new digital coaches to be able to quickly support schools and the implementation of the technology plan.

Workflow:
Digital Learning team will work to create a document that will be used to onboard new digital coaches.
Document will be address task that need to be completed first week, 30 days, 45 days, 60 days.

Infinite Campus SupportContinue to provide support and professional development to school based leaders that use IC. Support K-5 report card training and questions and grades 6-12 IC gradebook support.
(Workflow) - Create a systematic process to train K-12 teachers on Grade Book. This process includes: creating consistent and organized documentation, provide walk-through videos that mirror the documentation so teachers can follow along, and ensure that all schools are updated on grade book changes. This process also requires collaboration between different departments to ensure that school based needs are fulfilled with prompt followthrough. The collaboration would require a clear and streamlined approach to handling changes such as standards changes, report card implementation and deadlines.

School Improvement Plan RequestDepartment will work with schools to support SIP efforts via the school support request.
Workflow:
Department head will receive SIP Request.
Department head will assign each request to team member based upon feeder pattern or availability.
Department head will meet with each assignee three times per quarter.
Departmetn head will update the School Support System quarterly with updates.
