Students sometimes graduate with more than 72 credits (9 overlap) by taking extra electives from International Public Affairs and/or Urban Planning depending on their specialization.
30
In the above plan, PA 818 is selected, so URPL 721 is not taken.
31
In the above plan, URPL 721/PA 818, PA 819, and PA 881 count as suggested La Follette courses that can count toward both degrees. Other options may include PA 820 or PA 871.
32
Students can take up to 15 credits a semester but are advised to take 9-13 a semester.
33
*A maximum of 3 credits can be accrued for internship via multiple internships or one worth 3 credits
34
**Students admitted to URPL in fall 2019 and later will be required to take a three-credit course in Professional Practice, currently URPL 590-003. This course will probably receive its own number and will not be offered as a topics course in the future.
This course is NOT a pre-requisite to the URPL 912 Planning Workshop.

This course plan is intended to serve as a resource for students to ensure they complete all program requirements but is not the only path that students can take. For specific advising questions contact Mo O'Connor at mcoconnor@lafollette.wisc.edu
