HOW TO USE THE 2023-24 MISSION HIGH SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIP DATABASE
2
This document is a collection of local and national scholarships that provide financial assistance to post-secondary students. This database is not meant to be an exhaustive list of all the scholarship out there but rather a collection of scholarships that Missio Graduates is aware of.

The database is sorted monthly by due date starting with September 2023 and ending with August 2024. Each scholarship is tagged with different identifiers to make it easy to search for relevant scholarships. To use the tag function, all you have to do is press CTRL+F and insert the tag you'd like to search for. This will allow you to skip to the scholarships with the tag you selected. You can see a list of tags below in the tag key. For best results, search 1 tag at a time.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE CENTER STAFF
22
When you want to enter a new scholarship into the database, please follow these steps:
- Confirm that the scholarship is not in the database currently by searching its name in the corresponding month.
- Fill each column for the scholarship. Use the date format (MONTH DAY) so that sheet can be sorted by date accurately. Read through the tags above and tag the scholarship with all applicable tags; please tag as thoroughly as possibly, especially prioritizing residency status requirements. If the scholarship's website does not specify whether the scholarship is open to undocumented studnets, send an email to the organization to clarify.
- If Mission Graduates students have received the scholarship in the past, please make a note of that in the far right column.

Some tips:
- Prioritize LOCAL scholarships (Bay Area/California)
