Flying Squirrel Adventures - Steph & Ben
Long5/25/20205:25:00 PM2:20:22
Steph needed a 3-hour bushwhacking leg for her "virtual" adventure race, The Lockdown (hosted by Rootstock Racing), so we trekked the long course. Steph was wearing a somewhat heavy pack and we had just paddled two hours on the lake, so we were in no hurry. We saw a fox near the maintenance building on the NW part of the course. Humid day. So nice to be out. With the ticks and poison ivy in full swing, we were happy to stay out of the thick stuff, and enjoyed the views of the lake coming and going out the campground road.
