Currently, the research carried out in our laboratory is focused on the synthesis of new surfactant molecules using enzymes for the agrifood sector, detergents, agronomy but also in niche sectors such as cosmetics or pharmaceuticals.

The discussion will be mainly focused to some recent dynamical systems for the description of biological diffusion and/or collective movements, i.e. traffic models and crowd dynamics.
Such processes are mainly described by partial differential equations or systems of parabolic or iperbolic type. The trainee will learn, in particular, some important mahematical tools for attaching such models.
The main part of the trainee’s activity will be about the qualitative description of these models. In particular their well-poseness, the investigation of their solutions satisfying some nonlocal conditions, the existence of solutions in special classes such as wavefront solutions, etc. About these topic the trainee will be addressed to some new investigation and the possible new results could be published in some international journal.
The final part will be about the study of some concrete situation with data from some real life situation.
The trainee should know the main topics of Mathematical Analysis; in particualr including a the theory of differential equations. All the discussions will be in English (or Italian). So a good level of English is required.

The trainee is required to study, model and solve combinatorial optimization methods related to sustainable operations. • Creating content for social media channels; Instagram and TikTok and possibly, Facebook, X and LinkedIn
• Writing a monthly blog documenting your experience living in Ireland and interning at MU.
• Recruiting and coordinating MU UG and PG international students on campus to write student blogs and help create student media content (for webpages and social media channels) e.g. short 30-60 sec videos, student and staff interviews, student testimonials, student images.
• Assisting with website updating.
• Assisting IO staff at international student events.
• Answering student queries received via third party platforms.
• General administrative support.
A high level of proficiency in written and spoken English is a requirement for the role.
Benefits to the Student
Marketing and social media skills are required in a very wide variety of employment sectors. The experiences gained throughout this internship will stand to any student wishing to pursue a career in marketing, social media or a related area. From a redaction and presentation point of view, writing and coordinating blogs, experience documenting and posting about various subjects to large audiences will be extremely beneficial for all future areas that the student needs to demonstrate any written or visual content created in a professional capacity. We see this as a fantastic opportunity for us to gain fresh ideas, input, and thoughts from a talented university student. Simultaneously it is an opportunity for you to gain experience in working with the International Office team, learning about the international education sector, marketing and the promotion of events and activities internationally.

Duration and Conditions
The internship will be a minimum of 5 months in duration, maximum 12 months. The intern will work regular office hours (09:30-17:00, Monday to Friday). There is some flexibility.

The internship is available from March 2024 onwards; however, a later start may be possible also. The internship is unpaid. Students should be receiving Erasmus funding.

El departamento de estudios ibéricos e iberoamericanos de la Universidad Paul-Valéry Montpellier 3 solicita becarios no renumerados para realizar prácticas en su biblioteca de estudios hispánicos del 3 de febrero al 30 de junio. Los becarios deberán ser estudiantes durante el tiempo que dure su periodo de prácticas, y deberán estar matriculados en 3º o 4º curso de un título de Grado o bien en programas de Máster. Deberán tener un buen nivel de Francés (nivel deseado C1). Los estudiantes de la Universidad que podrán ampararse en el presente convenio de prácticas son, prioritariamente, los estudiantes de las titulaciones de Traducción e Interpretación, Estudios Franceses, Gestión Cultural y Filología Hispánica. También podrán acogerse los estudiantes de Historia e Historia del Arte. Los beneficiarios colaborarán en las actividades pedagógicas de la biblioteca animando tándems de conversación con los alumnos y proponiendo animaciones culturales y lúdicas para incitar a los alumnos y usuarios a ir a la biblioteca. Deberán ayudar al personal en las tareas de atención a lectores, apertura del recinto, préstamo y repertoriado de libros. Queremos seguir desarrollando y diversificando la oferta de actividades, para reforzar el atractivo de la biblioteca y que sea un espacio cada vez más acogedor.
