PURPOSE: To confirm that the horse demonstrates correct basics, and having achieved the thrust required in First Level, now accepts more weight on the hindquarters (collection); moves with an uphill tendency, especially in the medium gaits; and is reliably on the bit. A greater degree of straightness, bending, suppleness, throughness, balance and self-carriage is required than at First Level.JUDGEIda Norris

Well organized test and a pair that are progressing nicely. My only concern is the canter departs. lack of rhythm and confidence at the transition can occasionally be a comfort issue ( SI or hind legs) so check horse for comfort?? If it is just tension allow the horse to canter more forward rather than UP" in the first steps, being sure to avoid the appearance of restriction. this lovely horse and rider may deserve more points.. a little difficult to say ... as we need zoom to really appreciate some of this work. please join in some more and utilize the landscape setting on camera( wide ) and please zoom so we can really appreciate this neat team!
