Children (12yo and under) category & 13-16yo category
- Round robins: 2 minutes
- Eliminations: 2 minutes

Women’s category & Men’s category
- Round robins: 2 minutes
- Eliminations: 3 minutes

[METHOD]
Non-Bogu category
- There will be no round robins and matches are direct eliminations.
- It will be zenshin kotai men x 20 and hayasuburi x 20 followed by hantei

All other categories

- All matches are sanbon-shobu

- Should there be any member who is not present on the day, the opposing player will get a win; with the score of 2-0

- Only 2 players from each round robin will proceed

- If your round robin consist of 2 players, it will be a match to determine who goes up as 1st and 2nd

- If your round robin consist of 3 players, it will be in this order:
Player A vs Player B
Player B vs Player C
Player C vs Player A

- If your round robin consist of 4 players, it will be in this order:
Player A vs Player B
Player B vs Player C
Player C vs Player D
Player D vs Player A

- Points will be awarded to competitors depending on the following results during the round robins to determine who goes up as 1st and 2nd:
Match win: 3 points
Draw: 1 point
Lose: 0 point
