Let's play a fun word game !!
13
14
Words Tab
15
The Words tab is a list of words (combinations of letters) playable in Word Play. Note that not all words in the English Language are contained, and not all contained words are necessarily in the English Language.
16
In some levels, you will need to work out whether given strings are words and if so, how much they are worth.
17
18
Points Tab
19
The Points tab lists the number of points each letter scores. These range from 1 to 11 points.
20
21
Board Tab (Level 6)
22
In Level 6 we will place words on the game Board, which is 15x15 cells in size. Note that words can be played going down a column or across a row (left to right). They cannot be played going upwards, or right to left, or diagonally.
23
Within the Board, DL doubles the value of the letter placed on that cell and DW doubles the value of the word played.
24
To be eligible for prizes, please be sure that your Excel file contains ample evidence of how you arrived at your answers. All work must be your own. Good luck !!
25
26
Bonus Questions
27
28
To make the game more exciting, we have 3 bonus questions for you. These questions can be answered at any time during the game.
