Teams
25
There will be 8 teams throughout the championship, with each having one driver from GT1 and one driver from GT2 all randomly selected. Points gained by drivers in each round are added up to become their team points for that round.
26
27
Reserve Drivers
28
Each team can use a reserve driver on a maximum of two occasions throughout the championship if a regular member of their team can't make a race. Reserve drivers will score points for the team as normal and are free to race for any other team if needed.
29
30
The Championship
31
There will be 3 championship tables: one for GT1, one for GT2, and one for the teams. Points are awarded based on finishing position in class and drivers must remain in the same class throughout the championship.
32
Drivers and teams will be able to drop their two worst scores meaning only their best 5 rounds will count to their overall total. Points tables can be seen on the other sheets.
33
34
Disconnections
35
Everyone who starts the race will be classified and therefore receive points. If a racer disconnects he will be classified in 8th position, with the next person who disconnects classified in 7th, and so on.
36
37
Lapped Cars
38
Standard multi-class endurance racing rules apply - cars being lapped do not have to move out of the way for faster cars coming through, but should also not actively defend their position and try to slow down faster cars
39
Cars being lapped should stick to the racing line so faster cars can predict where they will be and make overtaking easier, though if a lapped car wants to move well out of the way safely that's fine. If in doubt, stick to the racing line.
40
41
Start Procedure
42
There will be no turbo starts allowed. Everyone must rev their engines during the countdown to ensure this is the case. 2 place penalty for infractions.
43
44
LSGP Caveat
45
Those coming out of the tunnel always have right of way. It is up to the person going past the entrance to the tunnel to ensure there are no incidents.
