Survival Arena League (SAL) Rules

EligibilityAll unbanned Minecraft users are welcome to particpate!

All gear/supplies can be used, but you must bring your own!

SchedulingAll SAL arenas will be announced at least 24 hours in advance.

We will make an effort to schedule arenas to cater to different timezones.

ScoringUsers will have 5 opportunities to score points at each SAL event:

[1]1v1 (Duel)

 - 1 point for winning

- Can only participate in one duel per arena (every player will have an opportunity to do so)

- Will try to match up players based on gear whenever possible (better gear = better prizes)

[2]1v1v1v1 (4-way)

- 2 points for winning

- Can only participate in one 4-way per arena (every player will have an opportunity to do so)

- Points for last 3 surviving players: 5 for 1st, 2 for 2nd, 1 for 3rd

[B]Survival Leaderboard Bonus

- Any of top 3 players on nerd.nu/survival get 1 bonus point for participating in arena

- This bonus will start with Arena 2

After every 3 arenas, one low arena score will be dropped per player.

This way, it is not required to attend every single arena to stay competitive.

DisqualificationUsers may be disqualified from an event or arena for breaking any of the special arena rules.

These include (but are not limited to):

1) Interfering from the stands in any way

2) Deliberately or repeatedly leaving a fight (e.g. ender pearling, logging out)

3) Displays of poor sportmanship (e.g. refusing to fight some players, trying to preserve armor)

This is an individual competition, not a team one!

Repeated ignorance of arena rules may lead to a ban.

RewardsIn addition to the normal prizes for winning arena prizes, there are special perks for SAL arenas!

- SAL leaderboard will be displayed in game (likely at spawn) after each arena

- Top overall scorer at end of revision gets a monument to their greatness on next S revision!
