I am very proud to pull a salary from my farm. It's really hard y'all!
I know some will see this number and think "good lord how does she live on that"
and some will think "oh man... she's killing it... I'm failing and floundering"
It took 4 years to get here, and another year to get back here after moving the farm.
But mostly it took the support of my heroes and bestie customers and, like,
heaps of work. My work, Jo's occational unpaid contributions (love him), and the efforts of
Cara, Ellis & Charlotte who I literally couldn't do this without! They're champs
and EVERY business surviving rests on the shoulders of the workers.

Sales mix
All except 'wholesale' represents 40 weeks of sales in the year.
I have 2 weeks off between terms, and 6-7 weeks off over Summer.
I could push through and sell all year but I don't want to!
It means I get to have some weeks fully off around Christmas/New Year,
others where I'm working part-time, and it allows me space in the crop
plan to plant the farm out to cover crops to maintain fertility.
