Favored - While grief turn 1 is annoying, there's a lot of draws that just catch you back up immeadiately. Be mindful of Bowmasters/undying effects, you can usually play around them fairly easily.

Favored - Thoughtseize cascaders unless your have EE/Chalice. Even then it might be the play. They gotta kill with combat damage so the Ring will put in a lot of work stalling. sometimes you just got to go for it if you have no other options and you arent sure if they have force

Slightly Unfavored - Hard to resolve big sorceries but jam every turn anyways. if they have all the CS you cant really do anything If you land a ring, it's most likely GG

Even - Not that bad if you yolo an archon/troll into play T2 or T3. Ring can buy you time, don't be afraid to just play it and refrain from tapping it until your next turn to play another one/beseech for another one if that 1 extra life is crucial (basically using it as a time walk)

Slightly Unfavored - Up the bitchstalk is a good card, that thing will tear you apart. Keep fetches to push omnath if possible, otherwise good luck. You can outgrind if you land a ring and they somehow dont have a leyline right away. I take out Damnation cause they rarely have more than 1 omnath MAYBE a solitude on board at once so it's kinda overkill

Favored - Keep Bowmasters if they play Esper Sentinel. You can stall very easily in this matchup by chaining rings and they dont really have any counterplay. Be aware of Sanctifier-En-Vec (dont discard archon/troll if you dont need to)

Slightly Unfavored - While slightly unfavored, Blood moons/rings buy a lot of time in order to win and obviously a fast hasty archon can end the game rather quickly as they only have dismember to kill it

Even - They dont really have disruption game 1 apart from cauldron. Try and keep the board as clean as possible so they cant start drawing a bunch with yawg.

Favored - Goyfs are the scariest threats but can be dealt fairly easily with. They will most likely get pithing needle to get ring with Saga so try to play in consequence that they do that.

Favored - Ring protects you from archon triggers so try and play with that in mind. dont be afraid to let an archon resolve if you have persist in hand :)

Even - Feels a lot like the murktide matchup where a bunch of counterspells will ruin your day. other than that try to play as much around them as you can, sometimes they just dont have it!

Slightly Unfavored - Grindy Matchup, hit your land drops and drop a threat when you can. bowmasters/sheoldred/fable are the very best cards in the matchup. They will die to their own rings often so if you can get rid of their sheoldred on their turn, untap and sneak an archon into play, in theory it should be enough. chip in as much as you can
