9 | The Entrepreneurship Certificate has been developed for students who plan to start their own business or work within the small business environment. The coursework is structured to introduce students to foundational business knowledge to successfully compete in the small business environment. The E-ship Certificate courses are fully embedded within the Entrepreneurship Major, so students wishing to complete an associate’s degree will be able to utilize all of the credits from the certificate toward the degree. Additionally, the E-ship Certificate can be paired with other certificates or college credits to tailor one’s education for a specific type of small business. For example, a student whose goal is to open an auto body repair business can complete an Associate of Technical Studies (ATS) degree by combining the E-Ship Certificate and the Auto Body Technician Certificate. Some additional coursework may be needed to meet the requirements of the ATS degree. | |||||||||||||
