2	Vivillon		Kazuha?	Vivillon's Elegant form can be found in Kalos by Japanese players of X&Y. The Pokémon originally belongs to the Kalos region. The Pokémon is attached to Kazuha's hip and never returns to its Pokéball.		The colour-scheme and that this version of the Pokémon, in the video game, is exclusive for the Japanese players. Inazuma is based on Japan (and so is Johto).
3	Lapras	Mavka	Childe / Ajax	Lapras originally belongs to the Johto region. They're good swimmers and are often used for transport. Mavka is a gentle giant and very vocal. She is very friendly towards most human.	Mavka is named after a Ukrainian mythological creature that represents the souls of girls that died tragically. It takes on the form of beautiful young girl that lured young men into the woods (and to their deaths).	Lapras is a very practical Pokémon all around. I also decided that Childe is like a water & electric type trainer. I also like how soft and gentle the Pokémon tends to be, which is a nice contrast to Childe's more 'reckless' behaviour.
4	Sawsbuck	Mebuki	Kazuha	A Sawsbuck leaf-decoration changes for each season. Mebuki's resembles a Japanese maple, which is exclusive to the Johto region. The Pokémon originally hails from Unova. Mebuki has been with Kazuha for years, though they met when Mebuki was already evolved.	Mebuki is part of the Japanese name for Sawsbuck. Where Mebuki stands for 'to bud'.	I wanted to do something with Kazuha's maple-leaf motive. Sawsbuck was the most fitting in that regard, because I can play with the leafage on the antlers.
5	Emolga	Pastila	Childe / Ajax	Emolga belongs to the Unova region. While not his starter Pokémon, Pastila has been with Childe since he had been fourteen years old. She's a little demon that is obsessed with food and doesn't like most people. Though she's a 'weaker' Pokémon, Pastila is one of Childe's best Pokémon	Pastila is a traditional Russian fruit confectionery. The reason for this name is because Emolga resembles a real-life sugar-glider, which literally has the name 'sugar' in it. It's also a play on Emolga's cute appearance but not as cute demeanour.	I tried to give Childe some native Unova Pokémon, but sometimes it's a struggle. I love the contrast between Emolga and Childe. Emolga is such a cute looking Pokémon and Childe isn't 'cute'. It's like Emolga is the same to Childe as Pikachu is to Ash in the anime.
6	Lileep		Zhongli	Lileep is a Pokémon that's technically instinct. Zhongli managed to resurrect the fossil, bringing the ancient Pokémon into the here and now.		Listen, I die on the hill that Zhongli is actually just a big nerd that love history. I also have a soft spot for Lileep.
7	Flygon	Shamo	Zhongli	Flygon too belongs to the Hoenn region. It's commonly found in desserts, kicking up a storm. Shamo is Zhongli's main form of transport. She at least has two children, one Vibrava belonging to Zhongli and a recent egg.	Shamo is named after the Chinese name of Flygon, where the first part of its name (Shāmòqīngtíng) is Shamo. The Pokémon has been caught as a Trapinch though, so the name is a little odd	I adore Flygon as a Pokémon, not to mention that it's a ground-type, which is a common motive for Zhongli's Pokémon.
8	Wild/Mentioned Pokémon
9	Stoutland	Mister Snuffles	Childe / Ajax	Stoutland is a loyal Pokémon. It's especially useful for the colder parts, protecting its owner from the cold with its thick coat. Childe left the Pokémon behind to keep an eye on his siblings.	Named by his siblings. Is actually a girl.	Unova native, loyal. The 'perfect' family Pokémon.
10	Hydreigon			A very violent Pokémon that has been known for destroying entire villages. Childe has a complicated relationship with a flock of Hydreigons, where he survived three months living with them.
11	Starly			Pre-evolution of Staraptor. A very common Pokémon to find in the wild. Starter friendly
12	Budew			Small, plant-like Pokémon. It evolves into Roselia when it has a high friendship level. Starter friendly Pokémon
13	Bidoof			Beaver-like creature. Evolves into a Bibarel at an early level. Is very common and beginner friendly
14	Staraptor			Sinnoh's regional bird. Is commonly used due to how easy it is to find a Starly (pre-evolution)
15	Slugma		Wanmin Restaurant	The Pokémon belongs to the Hoenn region, however, it's findable in the Sinnoh region. It's body is made of magma. The Wanmin restaurant uses a Slugma to keep the fire going.
16	Chimcho		Wanmin Restaurant	Chimecho too belong to the Hoenn region. However, it's pre-evolution Chingling belongs to the Sinnoh region. It's a very kind Pokémon that can use its psychic powers to lift things. It's also a great alarm-bell.
