What year level/s do you teach?
What digital devices do you use with your students?
What are two skills/tools/new learning/ideas you would like to learn?
What helps you to learn?
My inquiry focus is/will possibly be on...
One challenge I am having is...
One brilliant thing I have done lately is...

Show me and demonstrate, Show me and help me learn, Show me and then let me have a goHow to promote cooperative/social skills within the classroom.
I have identified that some of my children are very egocentric and are lacking in some general manners and social skills. This effects the whole class at various times throughout the day. I would like strategies to reduce this whether this is through structured playtimes/games etc.
My lack of knowledge around apps and programmes suitable for my age group.
Only have a few ipads so there use is limited.
Trying to get fit so I have more energy in the classroom. lol
Ummm am lacking in brilliance lately.

Year 5/6iPads, laptop, IWBI would like the digital tools that are used in my classroom to be more closely aligned with deeper learning tasks that encourage the children to develop thinking skills.
Show me and demonstrate, Show me and then let me have a go, I need chocolateMaths - I am interested in looking at Maths Mindset. I have begun to read about some of Jo Boaler's ideas and would like to explore these further. She definitely feels that children will develop better mathematical skills through collaborative, inquiry based activities. I feel that digital technologies could be used in developing aspects of mathematical inquiry.I have a couple of students who cannot manage to use digital tools without getting sidetracked. One of them even struggles to focus if he gets to use a calculator!Have begun to use SeeSaw. So far the parents love it. I have also begun using Google slides instead of Active Inspire flipcharts. The kids like that I can share with the classroom drive and they can see when I am typing.
