1. Expand legislative advocacy and broaden efforts with the legislature, department heads, governor’s office and local communities and municipalities. 1. On 8/12/19 the Citizens Advocacy Network was launched in an effort to strengthen and encourage advocacy at the family or individual level. The first session of training filled and a second session was added.

1. Effectively inform and engage Coalition members with the ongoing efforts, priorities, and activities.1. At 8/1 coalition meeting members discussed using a tracking tool for FY20 goals. Tracking tool was created, shared with members and posted to the Coalition website.

2. Utilize multiple platforms to recruit and enroll new Coalition members.1. At 8/1 coalition meeting members were supportive of creating an ad hoc committee focused on membership due to decrease in annual memberships and commitments to serving on committees.Heather Ward called for volunteers to support the membership committee.

1. Offer dynamic training opportunities and community speakers to encourage professional growth and knowledge to better serve the community.1. At 8/1 coalition meeting discussion was held around state's decision to no longer support the College of Direct Support and move to Relias. Heather Ward conducted a demonstration with Relias on 8/26 and shared opportunity at 9/5 coalition meeting.

2. At 10/3 coalition meeting discussion was held to discuss feedback from the DSP Conference Survey and provide suggestions for the conference tentatively scheduled for the spring of 2020.

3. At 10/3 coalition meeting members heard from 4 community programs and had the opportunity to learn about their services and network. Information was sent out through the membership email list and distributed to appropriate parties including consumers, program managers, and DSPs
