Introduction

This spreadsheet has one job: to make sure that you are staying on point. It will take your monthly goal, the number of hours that you have worked, and the amount of money you have made, and spit out numbers that you can use to figure out how much more work you need to accomplish within a certain amount of time.

If a cell is GREEN, then that means it is totally safe for you to edit, and I encourage you to do so if you actually want this thing to work. If a cell is RED, then you should NOT edit that cell. I repeat, DO NOT EDIT THE RED CELLS. If you do, the spreadsheet will likely stop working, and you will see errors all over the place, instead of all that beautiful progress that you've made.

If you do happen to edit one of the RED cells, do not worry! Just go to a fresh copy of this spreadsheet, copy the particular cell that you messed up, and paste it into your existing spreadsheet. All is forgiven!

The first thing that you will want to edit is the END DATE cell. I generally set my goals on a month-to-month basis, though you can set it to a week from now if you need to.

The GOAL is how much money you would like to make by the date that you entered above. Remember to have realistic expectations!

As you can see below, the left cell automatically calculates how many days are left until your END DATE arrives. The cell on the right requires YOU to calculate how many working days are left between now and the END DATE. This date can match the DAYS LEFT cell if you like, or you can just use the number of weekdays left in the month, if that's all that you plan on working.

The block of cells below are pretty self-explanatory. You can change the names to reflect your own personal stuffs if you need to. Don't forget that this is just the introduction page, and you should not be editing THIS page :)

You will use the DAY TOOL to track your daily goals and expectations. You only need to input what you hope to make for the day, and the DAY TOOL will use this information and other data that you've provided to calculate your RATE PER HOUR and how much is LEFT TO MAKE. If your HOURS WORKED is 00:00:00 you will get an error with your RATE PER HOUR, as it is impossible to divide by zero.

MONEY IN LIMBO is money that you have earned but don't have hope of getting in time for it to make a difference. This total is calculated using data you input elsewhere. ALL MONEY is all the cash you are expecting to get, plus all of the money that you currently have. LEFT TO EARN is exactly what it says!

Once all of your data is in place, this part of the sheet will tell you how long you need to work to be able to meet your goal, given the amount of days that are left and the amount of hours that you are available to work. The scratch notes on the right side have no effect on the spreadsheet.

The JOBS tab is where you input all of your income! I've included a list of some of the most popular Work At Home Job companies, but you can change them to whatever you like.

The cells in the START column shoud reflect what your balance was with this company when you began the day. If you make $10 an hour and you know that you've worked 20 hours so far in this pay period, the START cell would read $200.00.

The cells in the BANKED column should be updated throughout the day as you make more money. So if you started the day with $200.00, and you've worked one hour so far, this cell would read $210.00. When you begin work the next day, you would update the START column to $210.00, granted if you only worked that one hour the previous day.
